One of my ultimate favourite TikToker's, and fellow autistic, Nicole Parish aka SoundoftheForest has recently been banned from the app for 'violating multiple community guidelines'. Her crime? Discussing her autism and the challenges she faces in neurotypical society.

Tiktok has temporarily banned her account multiple times before for having videos featuring the words *insert dramatic gasp here* 'autism' and 'autistic', and when challenged has reinstated her account, however this time they've set a permanent ban.

Nicole is an amazing, kind and genuine human being who as well as spreading positivity and information gives fantastic representation to a community that desperately needs a voice of our own. By banning her Tiktok is not only removing a source of information but actively silencing a member of our community, a community that is so often pushed aside and spoken over.
