I'm not okay right now. Did the maths with a few ships I like and the avg amount of fics for a single ship to the amount of hanahaki fics within that. For every 300-340 fics there will be 1 hanahaki fic. This is excluding my rarepairs, and I'm having it as a range , since I'd need to do maths with way more ships to make it more accurate.
This means in, at most, 100 more fics I will maybe see some janka hanahaki 🙏 Whether it's major character death hanahaki or miscommunication hanahaki I will love it with all my heart 🙂↕️
I do wonder if the types of ships I like affects this range, since there must be some vein of similarity between the various ships I read. The hanahaki distribution might be affected by certain fandom favourite tropes, or maybe since it's a very specific type of trope it's unaffected by these factors.
