Sorien was kind enough to ask which of their characters I would most like to do a wingit for. c: I don't get the chance to draw nearly enough unique taurs, so I took this as a fun opportunity to draw some Soritaur looking very determined to get somewhere in a hurry! I think the hands gave me the most trouble here, since she has two sets of thumbs on each hand, to mimic the setup of an ungulate limb. Fascinating, but tricky!

Cielys (Noah/Noel in other universes) [pronunciation: Seal-liss] {Species: Vitrian Alsius} My main focus in this story/universe and who essentially started this whole journey, both within the story and the starting point in which I started building everything from. He is a lil wimpy, passive thing who watched his friends get abducted by off worlders and try to venture out to get them back, especially after losing his mother to a similar situation. He meets people along the way and learns more about the galaxy than just his homeworld.

Renaiya [pronunciation: Ren-nigh-yah] {Species: Vitrian Alsius} Cielys’s mother, and a healer among their people. She is a singer mother, and was taken off-world.

Sorien [pronunciation: Sore-rin] {Species: Vitrian Adamus} A childhood friend of Cielys. An adventurous hothead who was one of the friends Cielys is trying to help.

Anwen [pronunciation: And-win] {Species: Vitrian Alsius} Cielys’s cousin and more of a survivalist type person who adapts to where she is and tends to not follow rules.

(Cielys’s Uncle) [pronunciation: Ren-nigh-yah] {Species: Vitrian Alsius}  Renaiya’s older brother and Anwen’s father. Can say he’s an artist of sorts, and not very much of a fighter. He prefers to mentor the young and council people when he can.

Rhys Sangre / Rhisnyd [pronunciation: Reese-and] {Species: Vesper Dromier} A blind bartender who runs a club called the Whispering Flame in which he organizes a ring of informants from. He is also lowkey connected to a crime syndicate and group of hackavists too.

Kaeden [pronunciation: Kay-den] {Species: Vesper Luminare/Aikaya} A rowdy young Vesper-Aikaya hybrid who went from being a streetrat to an employee for Rhys.

Tanja Avira / Tilana [Pronunciation: Tih-lan-ah] {Species: Aikaya} An Aikaya and adopted sister to Rhys. Former dancer and now spending her time helping Rhys while also runs a side job as a massage therapist.

Miz Anne / Nyss Nania [Pronunciation: Niss Nan-ee-ah] {Species: Citiali} A sassy little old frog lady who works as a cook for the Whispering Flame, and while she looks out for Rhys and Tanja, she is also surprisingly a tough body guard too.

Zann [pronunciation: Zann] {Species: Citiali} Friend to Kaeden in his early years of being a streetrat and was a mentor to Kaeden before they got separated. 

Lar'mier [pronunciation: Lair-meer] {Species: Talirian}  Wandering loner who tries to avoid issues caused by his father.

Shalimar Kreüz [Proanounciation: Shall-ee-mar  Krootz] {Species: Human} Excellent hacker and information broker, who is the head of an information brokers ring and hackavist group.

Lahti [Pronounciation: Lah-tee] {Species: Vitrian Nixis} One of the informants under Shalimar. A bit of a trouble maker really.

Cole Sandoval [Prounciation: C’o Sand-da-vul] {Species: Human} An independent agent who works for Rhys at the Whispering Flame, and indirectly, works for Shalimar for different missions.

Sylliene [pronunciation: Sill-leen] {Species: Vesper Dromier} Former slave and now works as a detective/private investigator.

Zephyr Anasasi [pronunciation: Zef-fer An-nah-zah-zee] {Species: Human} Explorer and daredevil who travels around collecting artifacts or so. Sometimes works as a courier too.

Villains and Related:

Rau'gan [pronunciation: Raw-gun] {Species: Talirian} A subtle crime lord who goes around stirring up problems anywhere he goes, but somehow manages to avoid being caught.

Krydon [pronunciation: Cry-dun] {Species: A’mok} Rau’gan’s right hand man.

[] [pronunciation: ] {Species: Talirian} One of the Talirians who runs with Rau’gan, who specializes in technology and enjoys making new gadgets to make his life and his group’s life more fun.

[] [pronunciation: ] {Species: Talirian} A large Talirian loyal to Rau’gan, who specializes in weaponry and heavy work really. 

Drankas [pronunciation: Dron-cas] {Species: Vesper Dromier} A man who travels around in space to find rarities such as flora, fauna, artifacts, and from time, species he finds of interest. A collector.

Kirin [pronunciation: Keer-rin] {Species: Vesper Dromier} A young naive Vesper who serves Drankas.

Ahmiir [pronunciation: Ah-meer] {Species: Vitrian Nivalis} A morally grey Vitrian who wants to do what he can for the benefit of his species, even if it means doing some pretty nasty things to other people, especially those of not his species.

Itan [pronunciation: Ee-tahn] {Species: Vitrian ??? } Cielys’s father, in which there’s not much known yet about him.

Vitrian Allies:

Ariasia [pronunciation: Are-ee-sigh-ah] {Species: Vitrian} A traveler and a navigator, who enjoys charting the stars as well as flying her way around space. Also likes a good cup of tea too.

Sehkmetir [pronunciation: Seth'k-met-tear] {Species: Vitrian} A ranger/animal handler of sorts. He is a mercenary of sorts, doing odd jobs and always with the help of an animal companion.

I was going to use these as general mini cheeb refs but then kind of decided to trash some of the initial ideas for this, especially since some of the initial thought processing and ideas changed a bit. SO. Left over from 2 years ago :’D

This delightful piece was for Sorien of their kitsune character, Arii. Apparently, the culture of these kitsune is based on Japanese and Romani culture, and I was specifically asked to use Romani inspiration for designing her dress! There's something about the colours in this piece that turned out particularly vibrant, and I love the overall flow of the pose.
