“help me pick,” she says as she drops onto the couch beside him, then positions her laptop so it’s on one of his legs and one of hers. ingrid turns sideways slightly, her knees clumsily hitting against his thigh, reflexively trying to get comfortable while making sure her laptop is supported. “i only have room for one more, until my nets come. are we feeling aimee or leah??” / @soreavs​

although normally an exceptionally communicative person, jas hasn’t been sure how to ask about baseball practices, because if soren couldn’t figure out a way to make it work, she wouldn’t want to bring it up. and she’s felt weird talking to soren in general after the end of the year party, though hopefully her skills of assimilation don’t make it too obvious. one of the groups emerges from the building and she clocks cori and thinks about saying hi but then soren exits a moment later and she exhales before approaching him with a smile. “hi! how was your month of freedom?” not that she considers the internship to be all that restrictive, but! she steps a little closer and lowers her voice. “did you find any pictures?” / @soreavs​

virginie may not be the best student, when it comes to some areas of espionage, but she’s a dutiful rule-follower so she has read the gallagher pet policy closely. however, chinchillas thrive when carried around and they’re nocturnal, so she is trying her best to go unnoticed as she carries antoine through the dormitories at night. she’s one floor away from her own when her pet bats his chew toy out of her hands and it rolls down the hall. “merde,” she curses under her breath, not expecting to see anyone else standing where the toy now rests. ginnie’s face reddens immediately (she doesn’t even live on this floor, it’s weird!). “sorry, was that loud?” she knows it wasn’t but she doesn’t know what else to say. / @soreavs​

          “ on se parle plus tard --- ”  camp finishes up, ending the phone call on his old iphone. he doesn’t realize he has company the entire time, but as soon as he’s off, he notices soren. “ oh, ”  he says, dumbfounded, stopping in his tracks. “ i hope i wasn’t uh- distracting at all. ”  //  @soreavs​

“hey, soren! have you talked to louis yet?” she’ll be dead before she stops trying to play platonic matchmaker to her boyfriend and his friends. although she feels like she sort of made progress with maddox and louis before they all left berlin, she hadn’t been as insistent when it came to soren, for reasons that aren’t as relevant anymore. “also...i actually wanted to get your advice on something. but it’s a secret -- again. sorry. do you hate keeping secrets? it’s not a big one!” / @soreavs​​

she spots him from behind and has to fight the impulse to scare or surprise him, because she wants to do it but she’d feel bad when his reaction is less than positive! it’s mainly because her adrenaline seems to be pumping 24/7 now and it’s making her extra chaotic. instead, she loudly walks over to announce her approach before dumping her stuff on the table in front of him and taking a seat. “i barely saw you at the party! did you have fun? you stayed until midnight, right?” / @soreavs​
