a ship rant time
why do i dislike rayllum. cause it's just basic bitch shit. romeo and juliet, two main characters, who're isolated from everyone else and working together for the plot reason and feel like it's them against the world, who go through their joint traumatic events so they develop feeling for each other (cause phycology or something). meh (also the urge to mention kataang is strong)
why do i love janaya despite it being basically the same deal with the basic bitch stuff, enemies to lovers, who skipped the whole "to friendship" step it's ridicules? why do i love them? guess cause i was (and am) starving for the wlw ships. and i'm used to see women friendships so much, my brain couldn't even imagine they can actually became a canon. by the time it was clear they're actually a canon ship with basic bitch dynamics it was late already, i was already hooked up on them
why do i really love calludia and sorayla? cause it wouldn't be basic at all at all. let's start with calludia. it's actually funny that the first time the show introduced them i was like please please no please don't i hope they won't be a thing. careful with what you wish for i guess. but at the start i was think they would be the basic bitch thing. like a childhood crush, that happened before the show started, dorky sweethearts or something. idk why i was so against it tbh but i was. and then... and then the plot happened and they became doomed childhood sweethearts, who, it happened, ended up on the opposite sides. like thier little date - it was so tasty and promising. the sad look from callum when they flew away - delicious. being enemies with you lover... i still think they tried to recreate it with clauderry thing, but failed. but to imagine callum and claudia being deeply in love with each other while deeply disagreeing with each other...
and sorayla. it wouldn't be as emotional and refreshing per se, but they click so well. i'm still on my shit of them mirroring each other on how they opposed their dads for moral reasons. also sword loving gang is cool, also i think they would make a great pair based on their personalities, while also being a pain in each other asses in a healthy way
why i don't like sorvus's "sword gang" thing? idk i have no reasons, they just don't click for me
also i'm super salty after corpely vanishing after having a great start as well. they were co-parenting a king ffs it should mean something. also age gap is sexy. what else do you want to hear?
