“Oh man-- Talk about a blast from the past!”

Xigbar drops down from a high building in front of the other, a small wave as he grins down to the shorter male. If all he needed to do to find Sora was come to this place well... They wasted so much time back at the castle that never was. Xigbar shakes his head and just can’t help but laugh, 

     Oh, it had been way too long. He recognized the hair almost immediately through any crowd, Lance paid attention to things like that, and without much thought, he matched pace with the young brunet, threw an arm over his shoulders and pulled him in for a side hug.

“So, I wasn’t really planning on coming back to Luxor for college - with the whole past year as Miss Teen USA and everything, it’s been so busy, but I am so glad to be back,” Gemma said with an overdramatic sigh, already preening in anticipation of compliments sure to come. “Though not going to lie, wish I had known about this South Africa campus earlier,” she added, a small laugh following her words. “So, tell me. Like, catch me up. What’s gone on in the past year, what have I missed? Has it been dreadfully boring without me around?”

“That makes two of us-- well, in my case, it’s more like I wasn’t planning on staying at Luxor for college, and yet, here I am...” She dramatically threw her hands in the air, as though to say “such is life”. “Congratulations on the Miss Teen USA thing, I suppose,” she tacked on after a brief pause. Sora wasn’t big on complimenting people and it was surprising that she’d even managed that much. “Yeah, I’m honestly not a fan of these new locations being surrounded by nature and I’m feeling a bit homesick for the city, but you get used to it.” She couldn’t speak for everyone, but Sora never truly had any issues adjusting to her surroundings. “While I might have used dreadfully boring to describe Luxor in the past, it’s anything but these days. Went from being tortured by a group of students having a little too much fun, to being tortured by another anonymous group who calls themselves the crusade. And while it sounds boring, they make it not by putting on quite a show. I’d be impressed if it wasn’t so irritating.”

Gemma knew that congratulations wasn’t a word that came easily to Sora Kim, at least not when it came to other people, so the smirk that spread across her lips was genuine. “Aw, Sora. I’m touched. I would’ve thought you would hate seeing somebody else with an actual crown,” she teased, crossing her legs as she leaned back slightly, basking in the compliment. “I feel that - not that the New York campus was all that city-like but at least it wasn’t too far. I’m sure there’s plenty to explore here, though,” she mused softly. Gemma had spent a lot of the last year traveling, so at this point....she was just sort of used to it. “The crusade?” she echoed, her eyebrows jumping up as she asked. “That sounds awfully self-important, don’t you think? What type of ‘torture’ are we talking here?”

There was freedom when swinging through the skies. Ladybug couldn’t put her finger on why or the exact feeling that she felt, but there was an extraneous amount of happiness that just seemed to swell her entire being.

In Wonderland, however, she was still becoming accustomed to this new world and the way that it affected her transformation. She still didn’t know when the Cheshire Cat could deactivate her spots, or if it was actually possible. Her main concern at the moment was the way that Wonderland affected her yo-yo.

But she was learning this the hard way. She threw her yo-yo but it barely gained any distance before falling pitifully through the sky. Its square shape made it difficult to recall it, such as Ladybug was doing now. And down she was falling.

It took for Belle to adjust to her new surroundings. Yet, she seems to develop a liking here. From her provincial life to royal, it made her feel less like a normal girl again. If anyone asks, she is the most unusual girl herself. Belle has been receiving funny looks ever since she arrived, but she chose to ignore them fully to the bone.  Her father told her not to listen to them while she lived her life.

The library was silent including its residents. Save for a couple of kids. Belle has taken her role as a librarian a bit seriously. But in other words, she is getting used to it. Are the education here in this new world the same from her timeline? Belle might have to ask some of the staff later. Right now, she was busy arranging some of the books until someone has entered.

“Bonjour,” She greets the new comer. “Do you need anything? It looks like you’ve seen a-” And suddenly, she was hugged. It made Belle a bit confused by his gesture.

“Sorry, do I... know you?” She asked him. “You might have mistaken me as the wrong person.”

“Woah, woah! Sorry about that.”

Tadashi let out a nervous laugh. It wasn’t entirely his fault that the sidewalks were crowded - there must’ve been a sale or something for a shop nearby. But he did take the full blame for knocking over someone whom appeared younger than him. He held out his hand for him, waiting for him to take it. 

A deep breath. Nagisa trudged through the foreign city, a backpack slung behind him while he held a medium sized box in his slender arms. A piece of paper was placed on top of the cardboard as he stared down at it, figuring out the directions to the destination he seeked. Apartment 2.002. He had scribbled down the numbers along with a simple map beside it. Though he wasn't exactly the type to get lost, being overwhelmed by the new environment caused him to get his mind in a jumble.

So if I take a left turn here… With that thought, a breeze blew past him along with the piece of paper he was looking at seconds ago. Abruptly, he placed the box down to go after the flying piece of paper and took a jump for it, only to miss it barely by an inch. Curse his short height. If only he was slightly taller he would have caught it with ease…

Nagisa sighed in defeat. He couldn't complain about what he didn't have. Besides, losing the paper didn't exactly mean trouble. He had the directions memorized in his mind… Vaguely… He swallowed, suddenly unsure of his own abilities. Perhaps he wasn't exactly sure. Maybe it was time to ask for help, that was, if anyone was around to help him.

"Oh," a sound of relief escaped his lips when he spotted a blue-haired figure, much similar to his own. They even looked to be around the same age as him. Not letting go of this opportunity, he swiftly scooped up the cardboard box and scampered towards the boy in the distance.
