I can even overlook the stupidity of this n52 as DC trying to 'keep it fresh' or modern... But if they dare kill Dick Grayson simply for shock value I'm OUT. I will not stand here and be bullied by a publishing company into buying comicbooks and being emotionally destroyed for the sake of their wallets. That's not what comics are for. That's not what superheroes stand for. That's not what Dick Grayson stands for. And if they are willing to kill him because he doesn't fit their new stupid world, then it can only mean they are lost for good. This is it. Dick Grayson is widely regarded as "The Heart" of the DCU and killing him only illustrates the fact that DC has finally lost their soul.
I’m out too, it’s so frustrating to see “shock value” incidents happen to characters you know and love, DC has really done it this time, and having grown up with these characters it’s sad to see this company rotting away w/ stupidity
I know. I'm so pissed off right now. I swear I've convinced myself the new 52 is not canon anymore, but it still hurts. I just keep hoping that some day, when we all grow up and some of us inevitably enter the industry, we will be able to reverse this and fix all this crap DC is pulling on us.
