I'm honored to share this interview published in the international magazine Next Mentors, where I discuss my journey, "The Reach," and what it means to practice cinema today with a clear identity. People often tell you that you must follow pre-established paths. I chose my own: from theater to film, prehistoric archaeology and the international awards, leading up to collaborations with icons like Stephen King and Bruce Springsteen.

"The Reach" has won the Honorable Mention at the Festival de Cine Antigua in Guatemala. A special thank you to the festival jury for this recognition, which brings my film to the heart of Central America!

The film is based on the short story by Stephen King and features the song "Moonlight Motel" by Bruce Springsteen. Starring Jana Balkan.

"The Reach"‬ won the Best Short Award and the Best Actress Award for Jana Balkan at the Puerto Aventuras International Film Festival in Mexico, in the stunning setting of the Riviera Maya! Here is the statement from the jury, whom I would like to thank from the bottom of my heart:

“The Reach is Worthy of the King”: with this headline begins the wonderful review of my short film in “Rue Morgue”, a prestigious and cult international magazine. I'm honored. I would like to truly thank Jamie Zaccaria for the beautiful words dedicated to my film.

My thanks also go to Stephen King for the opportunity to adapt his extraordinary short story, and to Bruce Springsteen and Sony Music for the authorization to use the enchanting “Moonlight Motel” in the soundtrack.
