"An actual, gunpowder, with bullets, gun gun?" Tangle looked uneasy, "I mean, I hear they're pretty loud, and smelly, and hurt when you fire them." Lanolin nodded, "They take some getting used to, but you can have some real fun with them."

Tangle looked at Lanolin with shock, "Lanny, you've used guns?"

"Yes," Lanolin said, "I've used guns. I grew up on a farm, and there were the occasional pest that had to be dealt with."

"Mm. Makes sense." Whisper said, "Dangerous animals on a farm."

"I've also used firearms," Topaz said, "I used this gigantic sniper rifle to try and kill Eggman a while back."

"Yeah, but you're part of GUN, so that doesn't-" Tangle gasped, "I just got the pun! Gun - GUN - I get it now!"

"Only now?" Whisper shook her head incredulously, "Took you that long?"

"Hey, you chose me Whisper." Tangle grinned and leaned on Whisper's shoulder, "I'm your woman."

FIGHT FOR THE SHEEP!

"I wonder if that gray cat is dissapointed that we aren't fighting." Sang-mi hummed as she poured a second helping of tea for the beetle on the other side of the table.

"Is it wrong that I kind of hope that he is?" SiM Jewel replied before taking a sip of the herbal tea that Sang-mi had brewed.

"Not at all. I wonder what he was thinking? Neither of us are particularly violent." the tenrec said as she topped her own cup.

"I do wonder if my Lanolin will grow strong like yours in the future." SiM Jewel wondered aloud, unintentionally turning Sang-mi into a bushing, coughing mess.

"S-she's not my g-girlfriend!"

Tangle smiled, leaning against Whisper as they both sat on the couch together, leaning into each other.

"We went ice skating at an... exclusive locale," Whisper said reaching out and taking Tangle's hand, "After that, we went out to a... restaurant."

"She means that we went ice skating on a pond in the forest," Tangle said, looking at Whisper mischievously, "And the restaurant was Burger King."

"Taaangle," Whisper groaned, "I don't want them to know what we do..."

"There's no shame in saving money, Poundcake."

Ears flattened, Whisper turned away from the ask machine, "'S embarrassing. I don't like to feel poor."

"We are poor." Tangle reached over and gently guided Whisper back to look at her, "Listen, It was never about the money, Whisper. I know we're not that rich, not with our salaries and seven mouths to feed - but money doesn't matter. We're surviving. We're comfortable. And I have you."

Coming out of their capsules, the Wisps began to float around, chattering in their language.

"Alright, alright, we've got you guys too!" Tangle laughed, holding out her arms, "Come here!"

The Wisps flew into the arms of Tangle and Whisper, all seven of them cuddling together on the couch. They were weird, strange and unusual.

Surge considers the question for a moment.

Then, she leaps up from her chair and sweeps her arms across the table, sending everything crashing to the ground! She flips the table as the leans back the other way, her terrible strength sending the table crashing into the wall, obliterating the dry wall and plaster! She turns in a whirlwind of furious rage and rips the curtains from her bedroom window!

Next are the electronics on their shelf - a radio and CD player sent crashing into the ground in an explosion of sparks and flame, a speaker smashed into the wall to explode into a cloud of plastic shrapnel as Surge continues to rage across the room! Black smoke pours out of broken electronics out with the smell of burnt plastic as she continues her enraged destruction, ripping posters from the walls and leaving tattered paper in her wake!

Kitsunami cowers, terrified as Surge grabs her chair, hoisting it over her head as she smashes it down onto the ground, the plastic shattering as the cushion and arms fly in all directions.

Surge stands amidst the ruins of her room, terrible anger spent, surrounded by destruction as she stares at the question machine. Her arms hanging low and limp like a rabid beast about to charge, every breath heavy out of her panting mouth as her murderous glare is backlit by electric sparks.

"Hold on," Whisper hummed, "Let me check."

"Wait what-"

Whisper grabbed Tangle, and pulled into a deep kiss, her tongue pushing against Tangle's lips. Opening her lips to let Whisper in, Tangle moaned into the kiss.

Whisper's tongue ran all around inside Tangle's mouth, twisting like an eel as it filled Tangle's mouth and twisted, sweeping along the bottom teeth.

Tangle grabbed onto Whisper as the ferocity of the kiss bent Tangle backwards, Whisper leaning forwards and pushing Tangle down, still french kissing with a ferocity that completely overpowered.

Whisper broke the kiss, Tangle staggering, her eyes glazed over.

"Didn't find a tooth comb." Whisper noted.

"Wow." Tangle breathed, 'That was... one hell of a kiss."

Turning the beer over in her hand, she reads the label.

"Victoria Bitters." the bottle makes a hefty sloshing noise as Whisper hefts the bottle in her hand. "I don't usually drink... but I can taste it."

Twisting off the lid with her hands, she takes a swig.

"Bitter. Tastes like sour dough." Another swig. "Tastes nice. Lives up to the name."

Whisper crashed through the front door, staggering into the lounge room of her and Tangle's shared home.

"Tangle!" Whisper slurred, clearly drunk, "Come kiss me on my hot mouth. I'm feeling romantical!"
