When Songaa was off from a long day of work, Henley didn’t want anyone else but him to pick her up. It didn’t matter that Sahara was hungry, and in serious need of her milk. Henley made sure to get her daddy’s attention first. (The look of disappointment on Sahara’s face.)

  While the kids (Cameron, Jasmine, & Warner) were sleeping, the teens (Adam & Alora) were doing their homework, and the adults were putting ALL the littles to bed, the cats were up to something.   Could there be more kittens on the way? Only time would tell.

  Henley was just sitting there, judging everybody with a poopy diaper. When her dada picked her up, she was happy. But then, came the next tantrum.   Songaa had things handled with a tickle and a change of that dirty diaper. But then, Sawyer started crying too.   I’m convinced that Henley made eye contact with Sawyer, to rub it in his face that she had their dada’s attention instead of him. (No worries. Whitney came in a few seconds later and got Sawyer.)

  The next day, all the babies were being so cute in the living room.   Then, they ALL turned on me and escaped.   Levi, Henley, and Sahara headed toward the kitchen. Levi just wanted to play with his Snowflake Day bear in there, but Sahara actually wanted her mama. Henley stopped right in front of the kitchen, but had other plans in store. (see the next photoset for more nightmare Henley)   Jacob and Sawyer were the only two who stayed in the living room. They played with their bears under Songaa’s supervision. He was busy feeding the fishies in the downstairs fish tank.

  When the party was officially over, the toddler tantrums begun.   First, it was just Henley. Then, Sahara and Sawyer joined in. Then, Levi. But sweet little Jacob stayed cool. All of them needed to be put down for bed.   Songaa and Alora brought the 5 little ones inside the house. (Adam was still at prom, but on his way home. Mama Black was still doing laundry. And, Whitney had to use the bathroom.)   Jasmine and Cameron were off to their rooms to go to bed, but Warner wasn’t done filling up on sweets. He had himself an extra organic sugar cookie.   Between the 5 tots, Songaa put Sawyer and the boys to bed; and Mama Black was gonna put Sahara and Henley to bed, since she was done with the laundry. Alora was too tired to do anything else, and Whitney had a new mess to clean up after Dagger stunk up the litter box.   Henley didn’t wanna wait her turn for Mama Black to put her to bed, so she fell asleep right there on the floor.

  After the camping trip, the family napped.   After the communal family naps took place, the family decided to throw Whitney’s long overdue birthday party. And being the Kimberly I am, I forgot that tonight would be prom night for Adam.   Naturally, the kiddos wanted to play in the water before the guests showed up. So, I let them. ♥

  It was a beautiful and peaceful camping trip, until….   ♦Sawyer woke everyone up with a Henley-level scream cry   ♦Songaa had to leave for work   ♦Henley let one of her siblings actually engage with her, until she had another one of her meltdowns   ♦All of the babies (Jacob & Levi, Henley, and Sawyer & Sahara) were in bad moods, and in need of naps   ♦All of the big kids (Adam & Alora, Cameron, Jasmine, and Warner) were annoyed by the tantrums of the littles   ♦Whitney made grilled vegetarian salmon (that nobody got to eat)   The trip was officially over! (The birthday cake was for Whitney. I changed my age settings, and realized that she should of aged up into an adult when Sawyer & Sahara become toddlers.)
