phanta is a handmade stuffie with patches and button eyes... maybe a little bit haunted but very well-loved.
005 is a mass-produced stuffie with that really weird-feeling fabric and the felt hair, and the synthetic stuffing inside. cheaply made, not meant to be loved. </3
i dont know how to describe what phanta's little buddy is... it's like. a cloth tied around a little ball to make a "head" and then a face drawn on it. i think theyre an old form of very simple doll but i can't figure out how to look them up

last entries for brush week-- i had ideas for phanta for lovely brush and 005 for lagoon brush but not vice versa, so i'm combining what i had!
Phanta's songs are: Dead! by My Chemical Romance ("If life ain't just a joke / then why are we laughing? / If life ain't just a joke / Then why am I dead?"), You're So Creepy by Ghost Town ("Falling victim to your fantasy / Damn, I love it that you're so creepy"), There is a Light That Never Goes Out by the Smiths ("And if a double-decker bus / crashes into us / to die by your side / is such a heavenly way to die"), and Arms Tonite by Mother Mother ("And hey, you / don't you think it's kind of cute / that I died right inside your arms tonight / That I'm fine even after I have died / because it was in your arms I died"). I don't know why my vision for lovecore Phanta necessitated making her a 2000s mall goth, but it did.
005 is meant to be themed after the fruitger aero look!
brush week day 3: garden brush!!! this was a fun one. i really like phanta's design here-- honestly would consider incorporating bits of this into her canon design! the brush meshed with her theming pretty well already.
005 was a lot harder--their technology theme is directly opposed to garden and nature designs! i thought about going for some of that cool overgrown computer vibe i've seen around, but couldn't think of how to make it into a design. then i remembered that i have directly compared them to forced rhubarb before--kind of as a joke, but still--and boom! design idea! with a slight hairstyle change, even!

Phanta Masgor Marimort (she/they) is a silly teenage girl who sees ghosts. She's got a very cheerful, optimistic nihilist attitude about it. The ghosts are her friends and she loves them! It's fine if that makes other people think she's kind of weird and not want to be her friend because it doesn't really matter and eventually she will die. She also likes video games :D
005 (they/them) is a fucked up little clone made by Definitely Not Evil Buzzfeed to record the voiceovers for their top 10 video slop. They have lived in a dark room all their life and are having a 24/7 existential crisis. They're so unbelievably problems.
Phanta is sort of my flagship character, and they're both very dear to my heart, and they have pretty blank slate designs, so I thought they'd be really fun to do this challenge with! Excited to show you all their recolors :D
