So @robinaltieri made me realize something yesterday: Maria is always with stars.

Stars are a part of her personality. It's something she likes, maybe even love. Now imagine Shadow, who knows that his late sister loved stars like anyone else, having a daughter who also loves stars. A daughter who draws them in her airshoes, notebooks and even her clothes. A daughter whose smile shines brighter than the sun. A daughter called Star Maria Hedgehog.
Star the Hedgehog is the type of person to get into random hobbies. One day she wants to build a plane, then a spacecraft, then she realizes that she's just like to draw. She get into roller derby until realize she really like to fight, then she got into karate. She meditates, cooks and gardens, then decides to become an archaeologist to steal ancient treasures (Rouge's idea). It's a rollercoaster of hobbies until the day she decides to learn to ride a motorcycle.
Sonic: No.
Star: Oh come on!
Sonic: I'm not letting a fourteen year old ride a bike.
Star: So you can save the world at fourteen but I can't ride a bike?
