This looks like something out of a movie but the sad fact is that this is real life. What's even worst is that there are people all over the world living under an oppressive government. Yes, the US has it's flaws, ling deep rooted flaws but I can wake up every morning in my beautiful home in a safe area. I don't have to worry about military coming to rape, kidnap or kill me. I get to make my own decisions about what I wear, where I work, if I study. Just the fact that I even have those rights (although that wasn't always so) is a luxury to others My kids and my desire to move forward in life have always be n my motivation. Today I add to it just the blessing of having the ability & the right to make those decisions. I also recognize that as a black women in America those rights are still very much limited but I celebrate what I have and I'll continue to work towards making strides for my future and whoever comes after me. #prayfortheworld #somethinghastochange #prvlgd2bblaque https://youtu.be/FiRJRjsLx-M https://www.instagram.com/p/CSrCRHfrpzz/?utm_medium=tumblr
