🔪 ⇢ what's the weirdest topic you researched for a writing project?

Bold of you to assume I do research. Ok actually, I told V that it was CKD for [spoiler] and Vegas wedding bureaus for aro danley. I guess I've also done some research on historical Chinese government structures for an original fiction project I'm working on. Tbh I'm more of a write first, research later for second draft kind of person. And since I mostly publish one-shots, I usually don't get deep enough to necessitate truly Weird research.

❄️ what's your dream theme/plot for a fic, and who would write it best?

okay so. i think it would be really really cool if someone (anyone, really) wrote any of my nysm not!fics, but i would literally pass away if someone wrote 5th horseman alma or edward ii au.

📚 what's the last thing you wrote down in your notes app?

i honestly don't remember the last time i opened my notes app. however, i do have a physical notebook i carry around so let's pull that out and see. ahhh. it's discussion questions about a reading on classification for grad school

🌿how does creating make you feel?

it really depends on what i'm writing, but usually either settled, frustrated, or gleeful/excited

🎉how often do you celebrate completing & posting a work? how often do you give yourself the credit/validation that you seek from others when you post? (if you don't, you should!)

once i post a fic to ao3, i make the tumblr post, reblog the post to myself, and then send it to all the relevant discord channels. i don't really celebrate posting works unless it's the last chapter of something, or something i've been really struggling with, bc usually i'm posting the fics as a reward for some irl thing i've been putting off. the kudos and comments emails are the rewards really, but the fic itself it also a reward.

💞what's the most important part of a story for you? the plot, the characters, the worldbuilding, the technical stuff (grammar etc), the figurative language

🏅 What is something you recently felt proud of in regard to your writing (finished a fic, actually planned for once, etc)

gosh this will be so dumb but I got a compliment on how I write dialog recently and it made my entire week. it's always been my strong suit

💻 Do you do research for your fics? What’s the deepest dive you’ve done?

Yes. For a fic I researched the weather on a random Friday in September, 1993. And also local flowers that would be growing at that time of year. I spent wayyy too long figuring that out.

18. what's a song that you absolutely cannot help dancing to?

I have consistently danced to this song. it ALWAYS makes me move a little.
