💜The scene opens with the jewel watch going back in time sinking into the water leading to the CURetto Detective Agency. It's a beautiful visual showing the clock striking backwards from 2027 to 1999. You could say the water is meant to be a ripple in time.

🩷It leads us to our next scene with Anna, Mikuru and Pochitan going around solving a clue to piecing the title together. It's a cute sequence I wanted to add, while giving a small intro to the pre-kit book. Not much is known about it yet, but I can see it leading to some potential brainstorming to help the cures find clues or key words.

🖤The next part of the visuals show our cures finding clues using the pre-kit mirror loupe to find evidence around town, while showing off another cute sequence of Anna and Mikuru making a map, meaning we're going to see more of Makoto Mirai Town. I wonder how this will shock Anna seeing the buildings and landmarks she once went to in the present differs from seeing them in the past.

🃏I also want to add on the girl we see in the shot with Anna and Mikuru. Could be a potential character in future (possible cure), or a background character with a fun design to add for the visuals of the opening.

🩵Our next shot is the inside of CURetto Detective Agency interior and our first look at Jett-senpai. His fairy form is super adorable, and I can't wait for his debut episode. He's the lead scientist who defiantly created the pre-kit book and mirror loupe for Anna and Mikuru for their cases. I wonder if he's from another timeline like Anna. While not much information is given to us, I suspect he could be from a fairy world that got trapped into the human world. Either that or he's a being with space-time powers like pochitan who was sent to this timeline to solve cases influenced by the antagonist.

🔎We next get to see supporting and side cast of characters along with suspects to be the identity of cure eclair. Not only that, but I believe some of them could also be Phantom Thieves in disguise. You know what they say, keep your friends close and your enemies closer.

🪄Speaking of our antagonist! We get a glimpse of our big bad! Not much is known about them right now, but they have a strong connection to Ruruka and her origins as a anti-hero cure. I believe (big stretch of a theory) Ruruka is working with the Phantoms Thieves Guilds to spread the world of lies because she believes the truth of the world is far crueler that no one can handle it. In a way, she's working to protect the timeline but at cost of altering it for the greater good, either that or she's a double agent.

⭐By the way the Phantom Thieves are stunning! I love their designs so much!

⚡After watching the beautifully animation of the cures fighting their foes, we get a somber scene of Anna and Mikuru crossing paths. We see a young Mikuru with her mother? Or at least a guardian figure that wears detective attire. My theory is this woman could be a detective cure (or legendary cure to be exact) Mikuru looks up to that took care of her as a child. Another theory is that Mikuru is Anna's mother, while the resemblance is there, I don't think it's her mother. I believe it to be a long-lost sister of Anna's mom, or distant relative. Either way, this was quite a somber (its going to be tragic isn't it?) scene as it would mean that once they defeat the villains, Anna will go back to 2027 separating our two cures and their friendship they forged for the majority of the season.

✨Lastly the final shot of the opening shows the jewel watch, and a butterfly on the flower. Now, I made a post here🦋 stating that this butterfly is a representation of a butterfly effect and its connection to cure eclair. The butterfly could mean that Anna, thanks to the influence of pochitan, is meant to come to 1999 to solve the case of the Phantom Thieves Guild harming the timeline that will affect her future.

Overall, this is one of my personal favorite opening visuals for precure so far! It leads you with so many questions and room to explore ideas for what the season will unfold this year! I'll see you guys later when episode two comes out Sunday, maybe then we might get a few answers. Until then, this case is closed!
