Contemplating life. Exploring ideas. Making new plans. But most of all... Want. To. Hike. In Rayu's Facebookgroup there was a question whether to hike alone or not, because of possible boredom. I seldom are bothered with boredom, but it definitely won't happen during hiking. Time is filling up pretty easily with hiking for hours, finding camp, putting up camp, cooking, packing in and out stuff, organising, mapreading, watching and listening nature, some snoozing and musing. I am a solohiker myself, but am fairly neutral if it comes to someone else. It is not for everyone. I know a lot of people who definitely will not be better off by a solohike. And it is not necessary to enjoy hiking or nature or have a lifechanging experience. But if you are pondering about it, please go and do it!
