my sorta accidental new-years resolution (i.e. I started the pattern on 01/01 and didn't really realize what day it was) has been to do more like self-care and self-improvement things. Duolingo and free online courses and remembering to brush my teeth, that kinda thing.

Etsy Shop Owner Learning About Digital Marketing
I basically knew nothing about business (let alone running one) before we opened our Etsy shop in March, 2014. I have read and am still reading everything I can about it and about how to put an Etsy shop together. I have the mindset to run our shop as a business instead of treating it like a hobby. I have made a ton of mistakes so far and have learned a lot, but at this point I still feel like I'm falling and there is no net to catch me! I hate that feeling. Anyway, my son is completely into programming computers, etc. and he told me about this app I could get that would explain marketing to me maybe in a way I could understand it a little better. The app is Sololearn. While I've been on vacation this week, I have been listening to Sololearn's programs and taking their quizzes. Finally, things are starting to sink in for me! I am starting to feel a little bit more confident tonight about what the heck I'm doing with our shop. I think I'm seeing a light at the end of the tunnel and it's not a train heading back my way! Anyway, I just wanted to let you know about the app. The name is Sololearn and I'm using the digital marketing part. If you are new to selling things online like me, I would recommend this app!
