Finally made a polished version of my submission to a game jam!
‧。🍓₊
Technically it was my first ever game, and I've learned a lot through updating it and fixing everything.
All art, coding and music was made by me, Jayne404 :)
Check it out through the link!! It's a short experience, but if you have fun, please rate it & let me know in the game page's comments if you find any bugs <3
A fish filled fetch quest - now updated!
As some of you may know, I am a game design student in college
I would love to present to you one of my recent projects, an absolute classic that goes by many names, a paper fortune teller. I've spent the last few weeks doing my best to mimic the tactile experience digitally by using a controller
Please check out the project on itch.io https://damien-mcpuffpuff.itch.io/paper-fortune-teller
Some progress...
Moved from UMG to physical 3D space for the Barricade Minigame, got back to where the proof of concept was progress wise and added a reclaim for the wood (player+space provided determines how many boards can be used on a barricade, the more the better). Will refine how the physics function and work the system into windows and for salvaging wood from the neighborhood (coming soonish).
What's Next
-"Hammer in" functionality for the boards to finalize their location and set the actual board location on the chosen door
-Set up camera to work with actual in-house (as opposed to below the map) doors
Proof of concept for a barricade minigame the player will have to do for barricade repairs and scavenging wood from abandoned homes around the neighborhood

Early inventory implementation and some animation block-out's for the current guns
Welcome to When the Moon Fell! A survival horror game currently in prototype stage. Survive each night against alien creatures called the "Pitch" and spend each day scavenging nearby neighborhoods for resources to survive the next night. Progression will be story driven with each night getting increasingly more difficult to survive.
(Overall progress video of the prototype, with some recent updates missing)
Light is your primary ally in the fight against the Pitch, manage your power at night to ward off intrusions and keep your sanity in good order. Should the creatures get through use your modified flashlight to eliminate most of them, just make sure to keep it charged!
(Being developed in Unreal Engine 5)

🍓Submission for my first ever game jam!!🍓
Technically its my first ever finished game. like ever! All artwork and coding was done by me, and I made the music myself using Beepbox.
This was a very intense 48~ hours for me, esp as i spent most of one day on a train unable to do anything, & the jam finished at 1am for me so i'm dead tired.
The game is jank, but it works properly as long as you interact with the clam before collecting all of the roses (i promise this makes sense in the game) and theres a fun/ominous easter egg!
Unfortunately the easter egg is a bit broken since the second set of dialogue is un-triggerable (i could have sworn i fixed it before exporting -_-), and it says the incorrect number of total keys...
Despite all that I'm so damn proud of myself. I made a whole game from scratch in 48 hours. I only re-used 2 of my own assets and did the rest in the time, and i learned how to create a dialogue system on the fly with no prior knowledge! If you feel like playing it, please do <333
