Belle had been passing by Sequin after the whole fiasco with Metal Sonic being kidnapped when she first met the chaotic jester in blue. Sonic and Tails told her about their recent run-in with a peppy, gliding thief that became their friend. Who she coincidentally ran into while exploring the bottom of the ravine.

Well, more like the sugar glider collided into her carriage. Something about being distracted. Since then, it's been taking her a few days to repair it.

(It's been repaired. She just wanted an excuse to see Soleil.)
