More protection of your solar power system using Array junction box
In any of the industry surges and transients are common which travels regularly. Some deices have the ability to tolerate these uncertainty within some limit and some don’t, it depends upon the device that it can withstand. For the sensitive industry such as solar and sensor based industry, these devices can easily be burn out/damage.
For solar application based companies we have introduced an array junction box which provides protection from these surges and transients. Protection devices are enclosed within a polycarbonate box of enclosing type PS/PC. This box is providing IP 65 degree of protection that means it protects from low water jet from any direction and dust. For the protection from high voltage surge a sure protection device is installed within the box along with fuses. It is enabled with wire with lugs, DC switch disconnector, ferrules, and measuring/recorder devices.
This box is designed for low power application in order of 500KW with rated voltage of 600-1000V DC. A neutral/earth point is provided with this box. This box is suitable for 1-24 string, these strings can have the current of maximum of 30A per string. Our Solar array junction box can handle30*24 A of current safely. Our box provides protection from over voltage and over current. It is installed in between the solar modules and inverter sections. This box is necessary because if transients comes and pass through the inverter or the PV modules, connected devices may get cascade damage/burnout.
For large solar power application we have developed Solar combiner box, this box is designed for above 500KW power. Depending upon the version chosen our solar array junction box facilitates supply safe. These protection devices not only facilitate to protect the inverter section and grid but also to the solar/PV modules. We are the company that deliver customized array junction box.
Summary
It is a box used in solar power system that protects from uncertainty caused by lightning and surges. These surges are so dangerous that within some nano-seconds it can damage or burn out connected devices.
