#sol regem

This is a little teaser I constructed for my TDP fic "Sun Fueled Rage" using one of the official concept arts for Rayla's blades and editing it a bit to suit my own needs :). This is in fact related to something in SFR, no it's not the next chapter and no I won't really elaborate all that much about where or what exactly in the story this is for.

I'll start working on the next chapter outline of SFR today as well as upload the next chapter of Marble Dragons sooooooooon.

I'm getting a burst of motivation so I wanna hit the ground running!

Hey all! I've been working on rewriting the summary for SFR to both be more "engaging" or "eye-catching" and also make it more in line with the direction the fic is taking nowadays. The artistic vision for SFR has changed dramatically since the fic started so long ago and the summary was old anyway, having been written with the first chapter of the fic. I figured it's time I updated it, improved it, and made it more in line with what the current artistic vision. This is what I've got so far, whaddya think?

One egg. One mission. One Battle. 

That was all it would take, right? To forge a new legacy of peace and prosperity between Xadia and Humanity, to end centuries' worth of violence and conflict. Callum, Rayla, Ezran, and Zym certainly thought so; after all, it seemed to be going that way for two years. So what was there to fear? They did it. They broke the cycle.

And then the world stopped. 

Breaking the chains of history was never going to be as easy as they thought. And as an old Sun dragon began to accelerate the unseen momentum of the past, one thing immediately became clear. 

One egg was NEVER enough to break the system.  For reference, this is the old summary: Two years after the Battle of the Storm Spire, Xadia and Humanity have been able to live in relative peace and harmony. Azymondias has taken on the role of King of the Dragons and, together with Ezran, Callum, and Rayla, has been helping relations improve between the two halves of the continent. It seems that the world is headed for a bright future. However, no change is without opposition, and trouble begins to brew when a certain Sun Dragon starts to take action against the growing unity.
