For a long time, I wondered what I should draw, and why. It is still a question that deeply concerns me. I draw from simple images, often connected to childhood or familiar landscapes. I transform them in order to make something emerge. I am not trying to narrate a scene, but to create a displacement. The figures remain recognizable, yet they are crossed through, altered, as if something else were acting through them. There is often an additional presence: a light, a form, an energy. Not as a symbol, but as something that appears suddenly. I am interested in that moment when the image shifts, when it becomes unstable, when it begins to produce a sensation rather than a narrative. What I do exists somewhere between apparition and transformation, images that are never completely fixed. theme song 1 2
