Sirius says he's not cold. Remus discovers an hour later that Sirius is curled up on his legs in his sweater and breathing heavily. Remus sighs, covers them both with a second blanket, and doesn't move until morning. Sirius has a theory that Remus glows with warmth on purpose (this is not true, but Sirius likes to lie).

ik sirius is obviously a dog, but he's actually a lot like a cat in that it's universal law that you can't move him if he's sleeping on you
one evening, lounging across the couch, limbs all tangled together, remus jokingly complains about this (he's been needing to use the loo for two hours now)
sirius presses one final (for now!) kiss under his jaw and wriggles himself out of the cuddle. "difference is," he says softly, "with me, you can be sure i'll always go right back into your arms when you return."
Remus is always subconsciously clenching his jaw without realizing it. Whenever Sirius notices, he comes over to him, cups his jaw and says, "Release." Like a dog with something in its mouth it shouldn't have. And he does.
remus likes to make happy faces with chocolate chips on sirius' pancakes because sirius didn't know it was a thing until he left home, and he just lights up with the biggest, softest smile every time remus puts the plate in front of him byeeee
