"I've got you," they say when you were about to step into the rain without an umbrella
arms brushing walking under a single umbrella together
their thumb wiping away the dried raindrop from your cheek, their touch lingering longer
both of u are wet, now under a shelter, glancing at each other, then away, hearts thudding with a flutter
"you said you didn't like the rain?" "not anymore" and their eyes are searching yours. you're the reason why.
happily going under the rain and they ask, "are u crazy?"
^ "no, you're uptight! come here!"
and you both sway and dance and laugh under it
"Do you love the rain?" they ask. you look outside the widow and feel a sense of calm wash over you. "Yeah," your voice is quiet, "I do." and somehow they've become symbolic to rain.
when they kiss you, tasting rain in your lips
it may be brief or just a brush of the lips but it sends shiver down your spine
maybe its the rain or its them but both of u part feeling vulnerable
"Come with me. Please.. I'll make u hot chocolate.."
hands pulling you tighter against their side under the shared umbrella

kissing their cheek under the umbrella as u bid goodbye.

"remember i thought it was raining when you squir-" and you clamp a hand over their mouth, face red.
their cheesy grin and stealing kisses under the rain, carrying you and twirling u like a fantasy come true
maybe you both have kids and all of u are playing under the rain and when u and they kiss, the kids all start giggling saying "here they go again."
