focusing on genes rather than the whole organism in evolution is patently ridiculous when the minimum unit of evolution is the *population*, not the gene

in fact, when you realize the minimum unit is the population rather than the gene, you see that altruism and social behavior are very beneficial, even across species (see: symbiosis), and "selfishness" "red in tooth and claw" "law of the jungle" are just bullshit things some people made up to justify their crappy behavior (re: racism. their crappy behavior was racism.)

IQ and intelligence are smoke and mirrors we invented to convince ourselves we're more evolved than other animals (we're not, and every organisms has the intelligence it needs for its environment, adapted for its ecology, and that means that a diversity of intelligences is actually a good thing like diversity of anything is a good thing)

it depends. if you are coming out as openly cis, it's not a transition. other than that? possible. let me break this down:

someone comes out as a trans man. this person realized they are a cis woman after socially transitioning and chooses not to detransition

retransitioning or reidentification

experiencing multiple genders and one of them matches one's AGAB, this person may transition to one or more of such genders.

identifying as your AGAB but not exclusively, transitioning to non-binary, while still self-identifying as cis

being cissex but transgender (socially transitioning)

choosing to transition to another gender but not being such gender in the end of the day.

usually, transitioning is considered a trans* experience. but there are other gender modalities that include transitioning as part of their experience.

Qui continuiamo a chiederci se è reale tutto questo. Siamo all'arancio, come davanti ad un semaforo, sospesi, indecisi: Passo prima che scatti il rosso oppure no?

Arancio è anche il frutto di questa splendida Isola, come l'instancabile sole che la sovrasta...

Non ti nascondo che speriamo non si arrivi a quel colore, c'è stanchezza ovunque, si centellina la speranza.

Qui c'è tanta di quella luce che deprimersi è difficile, qui è più facile, sembra assurdo dirlo, ma d'altronde un'isola cosa può insegnarti, se non l'indipendenza, la forza di vivere da soli, in mezzo a questo mare.

Forse le parole, i pensieri riusciranno a mescolare giallo, arancione, rosso... verde, e chissà, fargli riprendere il loro posto, dentro un arcobaleno.
