At first I thought of ghost, but then I thought of Gaz, it must have started with Gaz, probably, the two of them running around and chasing each other to get rid of that excess energy that soap gets sometimes and that Gaz also has a habit of bottling up.

But I think soap eventually wants more, maybe Gaz isn't available that day or maybe he's simply to tired to play so he decided to introduce price to this little game of his, price magically happens to have some free time and enough energy to go running around through the forest, the rareness of this doesn't elude soap who looks like he just found a unicorn behind a macdonalds

So price accepts, great, good, fantastic, and they run and price comes close to catching him a couple times and maybe soap is starting to feel like prey because might be fast but he's getting tired and John is lurking. Soap is starting to suspect that the fear he's sweating out might be feeding John through some sort of perverted photosynthesis.

Lucky price manages to catch soap who had tried to hide behind a tree for cover while he catches his breath.

"oh ye really think a tree's gonna hide ya?'

Looks like he might have been spotted tho, price presses his chest against soap's back, shirt removed a while ago and for a moment soap feels like this might be a signal for God because it seems that whoever designed John thought he was making a woman and then changed their mind, there's no other explanation for that much squishy, biteable flesh to be on a man's chest

So who's really to blame if soap let's out a whine he didn't think he had in his throat? Is not his fault, hasn't John head of covering up? He might turn a nun to lust with a pair of plushies like those planted on his chest. It's only then that price realizes that that's why Johnny was walking funny because the poor seargeant's pants look like they are very close to giving up.

Not John's fault the if he wraps his arms around soap and asks him if he can use up some energy another way, and soap might have to learn when to stop nodding before he hits his head on the tree

I am barking like a feral fucking dog. I am looking as disrespectfully as possible. Foaming at the fucking mouth over this ship. The blind faith Soap has in Price both in the og mw series and the reboot (while subtler we still get dialog options that shows Soaps full trust in Price even against ghosts warning in response) just gets to me in a way none of the other ships in this fandom do.

I'm such a manwhore for that mentor/mentee dynamic. Go absolutely nuts for it. Younger man trying so desperately to impress the man he looks up too just for a drop of praise and the clap of a hand on the shoulder.
