Hey so I’ve obviously been dipping in and out a lot lately. That’s partially because of ~real life~ and partially because few storylines are gripping me rn but anyway... and also because I’ve been getting deep into dramas!

Not sure how much overlap there is with the soaps/gh fam and kdrama/jdrama folks, but I imagine there might be quite a bit. Korean dramas especially seem to revel in some very over-the-top tropes that would probably appeal to soap fans. :)

Anyway, I was thinking about posting some reviews and whatnot here. For my own benefit (to keep track of what I’ve seen and liked/disliked), and in case anyone else is looking for recs, because I know I would’ve liked some reference points when I was starting to watch dramas. It wouldn’t be anything formal or comprehensive, just whatever I’ve been watching.

I’d obviously tag so you could blacklist if you want, but would that be something y’all would be interested in?

This is my new soap from Lush! The employee who helped me informed me about their current campaign, which has to do with helping Syrian refugees who are coming to America. (Side note- every employee who's helped me at Lush has always been so nice and good. Although of course they're paid to act that way...) All proceeds from purchases of the Olive Branch shower gel and this bar of soap (and probably more products, but I was just looking for something to use in the shower) would be used to help the refugees start a new life in our country. I almost bought the shower gel because soap tends to disintegrate in the shower, but the employee told me the soap smelled like rainbow cookies so I couldn't resist. (Plus the olive oil used in the shower gel made it somewhat watery, which I didn't like.) With this purchase, I also received a free sample sliver of soap, from a bar that I'd always been tempted to try. I was never more excited to take a shower than I was yesterday, thanks to this soap!
