"Jaaaaaaax, your girlfriend's here!" Half-Sack called out in the auto shop when he saw her, his fingers filthy and hair greasy, smiling big when Jax's girl waved at him.
Jax's girl was wearing a white t-shirt that stopped right above her belly button, and a pair of low hanging cotton shorts, white too, to match with her sandals. She had a big insulated lunch bag hanging off one shoulder, and her handbag on the other, her many keyrings rattling with every step.
Half-Sack quickly wiped his hands and jogged to relieve her off the weight on her shoulders, like a true gentleman.Â
"Oh my God, thank you," She sighed in relief when Half-Sack swung the heavy bag on his shoulder instead.
"It's nothing," He smiled with a shrug while she waved her face with one hand, as if that'll do anything against the day's heat.
"Let's get out of the sun," She quickly said, rushing to get in the shade and lean against the wall to catch her breath for hauling the bag around for five minutes. She could've drove here but it's such a short walk, and someone has got to think about the environment.
Half-Sack puts the bag down next to her and looks around for Jax, asking one of the mechanics if they've seen him. "He's with the red Peugeot," One of them nods their head towards the back.
"Oh," Half-Sack nods, he turns to the girl, "I'll go get him,"
"Thank you, Half-Sack," She smiles, squeezing his shoulder, making sure to avoid the black greasy stain on the fabric of his grey t-shirt.
She likes Half-Sack, he's pretty cool, it's just that sometimes she's convinced he fixes cars with his whole body instead of his hands, like, what's up with that?
Anyway, her boyfriend shows up, followed by Half-Sack. Jax's wiping his hands on a rag and he's smiling, happy to see her pretty face. A couple of big strides and he's right there in her space, bending down and kissing her, "Hey, baby,"
"I got lunch," She says between his pecks and he's smiling like a fool.
"Yeah?"
"Yeah, I just need you to do something for me, but first," She steps back a little, and Jax follows her, trying to get another taste of her lips, but stops when he realises he's right in the middle of their auto shop, and that's not really badass of him.
Before she can tell him what to do, she turns to the lunch bag on the floor and pull out a chocolate chip cookie, the size of her hand, wrapped in a napkin. Jax watches her go to where Half-Sack's perched over a car, elbow deep in its guts and she calls his name. He turns around, surprised, and she sticks the cookie in his face and he grins.
Half-Sack takes his hands out of the car and wipes his palms messily on his jeans, she scrunches her nose and he looks a little embarrassed when she peels off the tissue paper and presents it to him so he could take a bite.
Half-Sack takes a bite, a big one, and he's so surprised and delighted at the taste, "Did you make that?" He asks, mouth full, a little bit of crumbs falling down his shirt.
"Yes, and don't go telling anyone I gave you a cookie," She laughs when he moans and takes the cookie from her fingers, "Oh, thank you!"
She walks back to Jax, who manages to look incredibly handsome in his dirty grey t-shirt with sweat stains, and his black jeans that are surely filthy, even if their colour hides it well, but he's got dust on the knee area, so he's had to be on the floor at some point, sweating away in this summer heat, working hard.Â
The rag he wiped his hands with is now tucked in his back pocket, and his hair was downright a mess, sticking haphazardly in all directions. She's sure everything was tied in a ponytail before, but now half of his hair has escaped the hair tie.
"Jax, where do you wanna eat?" She asks and he scratches his forehead, leaving a black mark on his skin, "What?"
She softens up then and links her finger on a belt hoop in his jeans, pulling him in a little. If it was any other day, or weather, she would've hugged him, regardless of her all white outfit, but it was too damn hot for that.
"When was the last time you had water?" She asks and he looks away, thinking, "I had a beer half an hour ago,"
"Jackson," She sighs and he groans, "I'm sorry, I just needed something to take the edge off, I'm tired, baby,"
"Okay, do you want to eat in the office? Or out here in the shade? I can see you guys moved the benches closer to the building," She asked.
"Outside," Jax answers and she nods, "Go wash your hands and we'll eat, yeah? I made burrito wraps,"
"I love you," He grins.
"I love you too, now go," She pushes him towards the toilets and he jogs there.
Taking the bag to the bench was easy work, considering the benches were right there, and she was determined to feed her surely hungry and tired boyfriend.
She takes out a water bottle, perfectly cold in her hands and a small plastic container, and that's when Jax comes back, face a little wet along with the collar of his t-shirt. He's grinning until he sees her take a baby blue scrunchie and hairbrush out from her handbag.
"What're you doing?" Jax asks, confused, about to sit next to her on the bench.
"I'm brushing that bird's nest, and I've got a scrunchie, it's better than that tiny band you use, baby," She says, sitting with the table to her back, feet on the ground.
"Can I eat first?"
"You'll eat while I brush your hair and tie it, sit down," She points at the space between her legs on the floor.
"Are you serious?" Jax asks while she stares at him, completely unimpressed.
"Jax," she warns him, and it's a little annoying because he'll feel much better when she brushes and ties his hair, she even got a spare clean t-shirt at the bottom of the lunch bag, that's probably cold by now because of the fresh lemonade she made, perfect for the weather.
Jax stares at her without moving and that's irritating because usually he just listens when she's trying to take care of him, but it looks like the heat messed up with his head today.
"Sit your ass down," She hisses through clenched teeth, pointing at the floor with wide eyes. Jax flinches in surprise at being scolded by his girlfriend, and he's never seen her do that face before. He's so shocked that a laugh bubbles out of his throat and before he knows it, he's sitting on the floor, his back to hers, and he's got a cold water bottle in his hands, and a plastic container with apple slices covered in cinnamon and sugar.
He's still giggling when she's brushing his hair out of his face, gathering it in her hand to tie it.
"What's so funny?" She asks with a raised brow.
"Nothing," Jax says after swallowing his apple slice and licking cinnamon and sugar off his fingers, and drinking half of the water bottle all in one go.
When she ties his hair in a bun, making sure not to do it too tight, because she knows Jax finds it uncomfortable, she smacks a kiss onto his forehead, upside down, "There, all done,"
Jax gets back up from the floor, container empty and he kisses her on the cheek, "Thanks, sweetheart,"
"You're welcome," She smiles, taking out almost everything she packed in the twenty litre insulated lunch bag.
On the table, they have homemade burrito wraps, salad, chips with dips and sauces she knows Jax and herself like. They've got fresh cold lemonade, coke in case he doesn't want lemonade, two slices of lemon cheesecake, cookies, and even more burrito wraps, all wrapped in aluminium foil.
"Darlin', you're spoiling me," Jax grins, sitting across her now, and he leans over the table to grab her chin and press a sweet kiss to her mouth.
"It's the least I could do," She smiles, cupping the hand on her chin and Jax groans, hungry and a little turned on, "Don't say to me or I'll put a ring on your finger,"
"Alright, big boy, calm down, eat first, and then talk about putting a ring on my finger," She laughs lightheartedly.
Jax kisses her again and sits back down, grabbing a burrito, "You made like ten of these, who's gonna eat all of that?" He rips the aluminium to expose the wrap and takes a huge bite, just about avoiding biting into aluminium foil as well.
She unscrews the lemonade bottle and pours him a cup, and then opens the salad container, sticking a fork in it, in front of him, "For the others, I know there aren't a lot of guys in today, so I made extra,"
"Oh, angel, you shouldn't have," He coos, stuffing salad in his mouth and a chip too, right after.
"I wanted to," She smiles, taking a satisfied sip of her lemonade.
Jax chews and swallows, then he turns around, "Half-Sack! Call everyone and get over here!"
Half-Sack does right as he's told, because he's sure it has to do with food, and who doesn't love free homemade food?
It takes Half-Sack less than a minute to gather everyone and bring them to Jax and his girlfriend, sitting at the bench. Jax wipes his mouth with a tissue, "Alright, my gorgeous girl made you losers homemade burritos, grab one and thank her,"
She flushes, smiling big when the men reach inside the lunch bag to grab a wrap, and every time, without fail, they thank her with a grateful nod. Half of them go back inside, and the other half are too excited and hungry to sit so they unwrap the burritos and take a bite right there, standing around Jax and his girl.
Then, suddenly everyone is ooh-ing, and wow-ing, their faces light up and they ask her, "Yo, this shit is good, what did you put in it?" She giggles and Jax tells them it's a secret and to scram so he can eat with his girlfriend in peace.Â

Daddy kink with Jax, him catching you waiting up for him after a late night with the club, wearing nothing but his shirt in the kitchen. Also can it be the first time you call him daddy and heâs absolutely intrigued.

masterlist. inbox.
Itâs a bad habit, the waiting up.
He tells you not to do it. Says honey, I donât want to keep you awake. Iâll just come to bed when I get home in that gruff voice of his. He uses that persuasive tone, the one that makes you weak at the knees. I donât know what time Iâll be back, baby. I donât want to keep you up.
And yet, you do it anyway.
You occupy your time with tv shows, movies, books. Cleaning, tidying, cooking. Anything thatâll keep your mind from racing, wondering what Jax is doing, what the club are talking about, if theyâre in trouble yet again.
But thereâs none of that tonight. Tonight, youâre sat on the couch in nothing but a t shirt that belongs to your boyfriend, staring into empty space. All because you canât stop thinking about something that happened this morning.
âľÂ âľÂ  ¡ă âľÂ ăă * ¡ âľ
The glass had slipped from your hand before you could stop it, shattering all over the clubhouse floor. A chorus of patronising but amused sounds echoed around you, coming from all of the guys sat at the table.
Jax jumps up from his seat immediately, standing up to see if youâre alright.
âOoo, Daddyâs disappointed.â
The quip has come from Tig, to no oneâs surprise. You look up from your knees to see that actually, Jax doesnât look disappointed. Thereâs a sparkle in his eye that you canât quite put your finger on. Itâs mischief and curiosity and self satisfaction all at once.
âľÂ âľÂ  ¡ă âľÂ ăă * ¡ âľ
Itâs replayed in your head all day.
That damn look in his eye.
At first, you thought that maybe it was because you were on your knees on the ground. Heâs been very vocal about how he will never, ever, get sick of the sight of you staring up at him.
But the more you think about it, the more thereâs no denying that the twinkle in his eye appeared when Tig had called him Daddy. Or maybe youâre just convincing yourself to twist the situation to fit the fantasies that swirl around in your head day in, day out.
Youâre so lost in your thoughts that you donât hear the side door open, footsteps rumbling across your kitchen floor.
âBaby, what have I told you about waiting up?â
âHey,â you breathe, always happy to see him. âI didnât hear you come in.â
âToo busy daydreaminâ,â he observes, wrapping his arms around you from behind. âWish I could read your mind.â
âYou donât,â you laugh, securing your arms over his to squeeze him tight. âItâs not very interesting.â
He smells like gasoline and smoke, all musky and masculine. The scent of him drives you insane, like some sort of instant aphrodisiac designed just for you.
âMissed ya,â he whispers in your ear, pressing his body into yours. âBeen thinking about you all day. Was secretly hoping youâd be sittinâ all pretty for me when I got back. And here you are, wearing nothing but my shirt, lookinâ like a goddamn angel.â
âIâve been waiting for you.â
âWhat did I do to deserve a sweetheart like you, huh?â
You hum, leaning back into the firm warmth of him.
âNow tell me, my little daydreamer⌠what have you been thinking about?â
His hands migrate from your waist, skimming up your body so theyâre massaging your tits.
âJust you,â you breathe. âAlways you.â
âYeah?â
âYeah.â
Heâs hot and heavy against your back, grinding his hips into your ass to relieve some of the friction thatâs driving him insane.
One of his hands winds it way around your neck, squeezing ever so gently to make you even dizzier. His other hand is slipping under his shirt that youâre wearing to cup you over your panties, his middle finger swiping along the seam to feel how wet you are.
âYouâre fuckinâ soakinâ,â he groans, all deep and raspy. âFuck, youâre nothing but a desperate whore after midnight. Sittinâ here, thinking about all the things you want me to do to you when I get homeâŚâ
You seem to have lost your words, rendered speechless as you buck your hips to try and get him where you want him.
âWhat dâya want, baby? Tell me.â
âFingers,â you choke. âPlease.â
He whips your panties down your legs before you can even process it, kicking your ankles apart to give him better access. His fingers are dragging through your core in an instant, gathering your slick and sliding right in without any protest.
Jax curls his digits and buckles your knees as he does it, while you grip onto the countertop for dear life.
âRight there? Yeah?â
âYeah.â
âFilthy girl. Filthy fuckinâ girl.â
All you can do is whine, panting for breath as he slides his fingers in and out, his pace utterly relentless.
âOh, baby. Can you feel it dripping down your legs? Can you feel it soakinâ my hand? My favourite little whore. Just canât think straight when Iâm touchinâ you, can ya?â
Heâs rasping the words right into your ear, his breath tickling your neck and giving you instant goosebumps.
âJax.â
âAtta girl. Say my name, darlinâ. Let everyone know who you belong to.â
Youâre not sure if itâs the way heâs curling his fingers, or the honeyed words heâs rasping down your ear, or the fact that heâs claiming you as his so brazenly that it makes you dizzy, but it slips off your tongue before you can even think about stopping it.
âDaddy.â
His movements halt completely, both of you frozen in place. You figure if you donât move a muscle or make a sound, heâll carry on like nothing occurred in the first place.
That doesnât happen.
Instead, Jax pulls you flush to his body, plastering you to his chest. One hand is still in between your legs, the other one tightening its grip around your throat. Heâs panting like heâs run a marathon, body vibrating with animalistic need.
âOh honey⌠what was that?â
âHmm?â
âDonât play dumb with me, smart girl.â
You shrug, which is the wrong move entirely.
âNuh uh, you ainât getting away that easy. Repeat yourself, baby. Tell me what you said.â
Youâre still hesitating, reluctant to potentially embarrass yourself. Jax dips his head so his mouth his resting against your ear, teeth nipping at that spot on your neck he knows makes you weak.
âSpit. It. Out.â
âDaddy,â you breathe, somewhat relieved to not have to bottle it up anymore. âFuck, daddy.â
âThatâs my girl,â he purrs, and you can hear the grin in his voice. âThatâs my fucking girl.â
His hand that was around your neck twists itself into your hair as his other hand pushes you firmly between your shoulder blades, bending you over the kitchen counter. He kicks your ankles apart, folding himself right over you.
âDaddyâs gonna fuck you now, pretty girl. Gonna fuck you until you canât remember anyoneâs name but mine.â
Both of you groan when he slides inside with no resistance. You grip the edge of the countertop for stability, knowing youâll fly over it if you donât hold on.
âFuck, you feel like heaven. A filthy fucking angel.â
âJax,â you choke. âYou feel so good.â
He presses a gentle kiss to your head before setting a brutal pace with his hips, his pelvis slamming into your ass with every thrust. It takes everything in you to stay upright, knees buckling every time he pulls back and re enters.
âAll mine,â he growls as he tugs your hair so your back arches. âWho do you belong to, hmm?â
âYou,â you manage to squeak out. âYou.â
âHmm? Who?â
âYou, Jax.â
âSay that again?â
âYou, daddy. Fuck.â
âThere it is. Perfect girl.â
Heâs changed his angle ever so slightly to tilt his hips upwards, meaning heâs hitting exactly the right spot every time he slams into you. Youâre dizzy with it, overwhelmed in the best way, gasping for air as your climax gets closer and closer.
âYou wanna come? Yeah?â
All you can do is nod your head frantically, desperate for the release thatâs been building up all day.
âAsk for it. Beg me like the whore you are.â
âPlease,â you instantly start babbling. âPlease, Jax. Want it, please.â
âSo polite,â he laughs, tone dripping with condescension. âThatâs not what I want to hear though, and you know it.â
You take a deep breath, willing yourself to think straight for one minute.
âPlease let me come, daddy.â
Thatâs all he needs. He pulls his hand from your hair and slides it down your front, rubbing quick and firm circles on your clit to throw you over the edge. It does the trick instantly, your legs turning to jelly as your head tilts back and your back arches. Your orgasm rips through you like a tidal wave, uncontrollable and all consuming in the best way.
Youâre squeezing him so tight that Jax canât hold on any longer, coming inside you with a deep groan that rumbles through both of your bones.
All that can be heard is two sets of lungs heaving for air, both of you half collapsed on the cool wood of the countertop. Jax wraps his arms around you, cushioning the impact as he hooks his foot around your ankle to take you both down to the ground. You melt against him on the kitchen floor, revelling in the warmth of his body against the cold bite of the tiles. Your boyfriend presses a kiss to your hair, fingertips tracing absent minded patterns across any skin he can reach.
Youâre not sure if youâve been laying there for five minutes or an hour when Jax speaks.
âSo how long have you been sitting on that one, huh?â
âShut up,â you whine, burying your face in his chest.
âNuh uh, daddy wants an answer,â he teases, squeezing you as tightly as he can.
âI hate you,â you laugh, trying to squirm out of his grip to no avail.
Summary: When you suddenly start to distance yourself from Jax, heâs left wondering what he couldâve possibly done wrong that would make you not want to be around him. But after a party, Ope tells him something that has alarm bells going off in his head, and he finally starts to connect the dots. | Part 1

Jax was not having a good day.Â
He was woken up extremely early by Clay, who had sent him to go run errands for him at the crack of dawn, so he was more tired than normal.Â
The two of them hadnât been agreeing on much lately, and it was really putting a strain on their relationship, as well as Jaxâs place as future president of Samcro.Â
Jax wasnât a fan of being on Clayâs bad side (though heâs on it quite often), so he was trying his best to mend the strain as well as he could, but it was difficult when he wasnât being met halfway. But that was really the only thing that was going south in Jaxâs life at the moment, so it really wasnât too bad considering his lifestyle.Â
Heâd been up for hours already, and he hadnât gotten the best sleep last night, so he was a little grumpy. He thought maybe since he helped Clay out earlier, heâd be in a better mood, but he was wrong.Â
When he got back to the clubhouse, he was planning on stopping by your place because he knew you were the only thing that would make his day better, and since it was still early, he didnât want to keep feeling irritated for the rest of the day.
But, just as he was getting ready to head back out, Clay had called him into the chapel for a talk, and even though Jax had a feeling that talk wasnât anything good, he still went ahead and put himself through it.Â
The talk had been even worse than Jax thought it would be. Clay had finally picked up on what was going on between you and him, even though neither of you were doing anything to hide it.Â
Jax had spent his whole life running from his feelings for you, why on earth would he go into hiding now that heâs got you?Â
But that was maybe something he shouldâve been doing, because Clay was not happy with the amount of time Jax had been spending with you. Ever since he was made VP, there had been an intense pressure put on Jax, and an expectation for him to put all of his time and effort into the club.
That was understandable and somewhat fine, but Clay himself had been in a committed relationship the whole time Jax had known him, and he was the president of the club. Wouldnât he understand that he couldnât actually put every single second he had into it?
Apparently not, because he had completely ripped into Jax the second he stepped through those doors. Accusations were hurled at him, and insults that really had no effect on him were what he was met with, and Jax had to bite his tongue too many times to count.Â
He didnât enjoy bickering with Clay, even though that was all they seemed to be doing lately, so he didnât fly off the handle with him like he really wanted to. He simply took it while holding himself back, knowing that the sooner Clay said everything he wanted to say, the sooner Jax could go to you.Â
But that was when you had become the topic of Clayâs wrath.Â
He berated you, degraded you, and said all the things that would have had Jax knocking someoneâs teeth out had theyâd been anyone else. Clay didnât know you, he didnât know the first fucking thing about you, and he had no right to be speaking about you the way he was.Â
The more Clay talked about you, the angrier Jax had got, but he had to reel himself in. The last thing he needed was another disagreement and for more bad blood to form between the two of them, and he also didnât feel like beating the shit out of the man who helped his mom raise him, even though Jax was three seconds away from doing just that.Â
He knew damn well everything Clay was saying about you was complete bullshit, but he didnât want to say something that would make him think there was something serious going on with you and him.Â
Even though there is. There definitely is, and it was about time too.Â
Jax had been pining over you for most of his life, even though he did a very poor fucking job at showing it or doing anything about his feelings for you. He knew he was trying to run from something that was inevitable. He knew that, for as long as he had you in his life, he would always feel this way about you. Trying to run from it or hide how he felt was pointless, because there would always be countless reminders.Â
The polaroid he keeps tucked in the frame of his mirror - one that was taken so long ago. Both of you were so young and, well, as innocent as you could be. Even though it was from forever ago, it was still one of his favorite photos. It wasnât the best quality, and the color had faded over time, but it was probably in better shape than most of his possessions.Â
In the photo, he has his arm draped around your shoulder, a small, barely-there grin on his face since he thought he was way too fucking cool to smile for pictures back then - even though he was rarely not smiling when he was around you.Â
You were both leaning against an old car, your legs crossed and your bodies slouched. There was an embarrassed, lopsided smile on your face, and your hair was half pink, which was still one of his favorite looks on you.Â
It was different, and that made it so you, because you were different too. A good kind of different. The best kind.Â
There were bright white clips pinning back the sides of your hair, your baby face on full display and was probably why you looked so embarrassed. For some reason, you never seemed to believe you were pretty back then, even though Jax always thought you were stunning and tried to tell you that on a regular basis, but he was subtle about it, and youâd always been clueless.Â
Gemma had taken the photo when you and he were waiting for your mom to pick you up from the shop after work. Jax had been there all day, and you had only been there for an hour or so since you came there from school, and he had long since dropped out at that point.Â
You hung out with him until your mom came and picked you up, then Gemma had given him the polaroid, and heâd kept a close eye on it ever since. He had to hide it in his drawer for a few years since Tara had become quite irritated by the sight of it, which was probably why the saturation was so poor now, but it was still one of his most cherished belongings.Â
Under that polaroid, on the surface of his dresser, was an updated picture. An actual photograph taken on a camera that wasnât made twenty years ago, and it was a lot bigger.Â
This one was from a few years ago, and taken around the time Jax realized that he needed to get a move on if he wanted something with you - even though it still took him a few years after to actually work up the nerve.Â
He was on his bike, his arms crossed and a lazy smirk on his face, and you were behind him, your arms wrapped around his middle, and the biggest, prettiest smile was on your lips. With time, he got to watch you go from a shy and awkward girl to the stunning and not overly-confident, but still confident, woman you are today.Â
That was his second favorite photo.Â
There were other reminders of you everywhere he looked, your chapstick you keep in his room, your sweater that always gets left on the chair in the corner, the smell of your perfume still lingering on his kutte and his clothes.Â
Everything reminded him of you, really, and that was probably why he decided to say fuck it and kiss you all those months ago. He was done pretending you werenât his entire world, he was done running from the one thing he knew would always make him happy.Â
And you did make him happy. Beyond happy, but having Clay know that and and use it as a form of weakness or a way to try and rile him up was not ideal.Â
So he lied.Â
When Clay informed Jax that he was aware of what was quickly blossoming into the best relationship Jax had ever been in, he fucking lied.Â
He lied his ass off and said you werenât important, that you didnât matter, that you were just another girl, but it was all a lie. One big, mean lie he had to say to ensure Clay would leave you alone and stay out of your business.Â
The absolute last thing he wanted was for Clay to start giving you a hard time since apparently Jax had been too invested in you lately and not the club, which was bullshit in his opinion since heâs had to watch the president of the club be all over his mother for years while still calling all the shots.Â
Nothing he said about you was true, but Clay seemed to believe it as he let Jax leave soon after that conversation was over, thank fuck.Â
It left him feeling agitated and pissed off, and when he got back to his room and checked his phone for the first time that morning, he saw that heâd missed a couple calls from you, and that youâd sent him a few texts.Â
The last one was sent just over twenty minutes ago, and Jax quickly shut his door as he clicked on your contact. It rang five times before he was sent to your voicemail, and he groaned, because that was when he remembered that today was the day youâd be going on a trip with your class, and you wouldnât be back until late.Â
You had told him about it a few days ago, and he had meant to pass on an invite for you to crash in his room afterwards, but he just hadnât gotten around to it.Â
It was too late now, and since you didnât answer his call, he assumed he had just missed you and that you were already wrangling up your third graders and getting them ready for the trip.Â
He reached up and pulled off his hat, tossing it blindly onto the chair as he slumped back onto his unmade bed. His fingers messed up his hair as he typed out a text to you, and he hoped youâd get back to him soon, because he really wanted to see you at some point today, and he hoped youâd come by after you got back.Â
Just missed you, I guess. Sorry, meant to swing by before you left for work. Maybe you can come by after? Iâll be up late. Or I can come to yours. Have a good day.Â
He sent the text then looked at the screen for a few seconds, as if your top priority right now was going to be checking your phone, then he tossed it aside on his bed, his head falling back onto his pillow.Â
He wanted to see you before you left, but of course Clay had instantly put him to work as soon as he woke up, and it took away the brief time he couldâve been spending with you, especially since the errands he had to do werenât all that big of a deal anyway.Â
Jax didnât want to think of himself as one of those guys who needs to see their girlfriends to be able to properly start their day, but that was exactly what he was. Well, he didnât have to see you, though he preferred to, a simple phone call would be good too.Â
And then there was the fact that you werenât his girlfriend, not really, since he hadnât put a label on it just yet. He assumed he didnât need to, because he was with you and you were with him. Wasnât that a label? Things had always been easy like that with you and him, he genuinely thought that you and he would easily go from friends to so much more without actually talking it out.Â
He knows he needs to set the record straight soon and tell you that youâre it for him, but for now, you and he were in a good place, and he liked where things were at the moment.Â
You never got back to him, and by the time it was nearly midnight, he stopped waiting for a reply since he assumed youâd been so busy throughout the day, you didnât have time to answer and probably ended up crashing as soon as you got home.Â
He was sure heâd wake up tomorrow to a text from you, one of the cute ones you send him whenever you feel guilty about missing out on plans with him or when you simply missed his texts. You rambled, even over text, and he rather enjoyed reading your paragraphs when all you really needed to send was a sentence or two.Â
But he loved it. He loved everything about you, and he always had.Â
When he woke up the next morning, it was close to 11 AM when he rolled over and checked his phone, but instead of receiving one of your cute and lengthy texts, all he got was a single sentence.Â
Got in late, maybe another night.Â
One single, simple sentence that sounded more like the way he texts than the way you do.Â
While his texts usually lacked personality, yours were normally full of it. They were so you, and you texted the way you talked in person, which was bubbly and full of life.Â
This seemed dull, and that wasnât like you.Â
But he wasnât about to dwell or make assumptions over a text. Maybe you were tired. You said you had a late night, so maybe you were still trying to wake up.Â
He sent a quick text back, offering to bring you a late breakfast and promising heâd be able to spend more than just a quick visit with you since it was the weekend and he hadnât been given any grueling orders from Clay.Â
While he didnât normally wait around for a text message, he couldnât ignore how the time was ticking by, and you hadnât answered him. He didnât know if you saw the text and just wanted to have a chill day by yourself, or if you genuinely hadnât even read it yet, but when it became the late afternoon, his offer had expired since Gemma would need his help with something for the rest of the day.Â
That was fine, since Jax ended up being distracted until he passed out on his bed well after midnight. He half expected to wake up to a text from you, an apology message and an offer to have that late breakfast today, but when he grabbed his phone, there were no texts from you.Â
It was a little odd, since you usually text him every day, even the most random shit, so to have you absent from his messages was a little weird.Â
He got dressed as he texted you again, trying to ignore the way he felt about you having completely ignored his previous one, and asked if he could stop by your place later since he missed you.Â
He felt weird asking if he could come over, because usually he just shows up, like you show up at the clubhouse and let him whisk you away to his room, but things felt off right now, and he didnât want to show up and have you be annoyed at him for it since he clearly missed out on the hint.Â
The day went on, and you never got back to him.Â
And as the days went on, all his texts to you went unanswered, and all his calls went straight to voicemail.Â
What the fuck was happening? What the hell had he missed? He obviously missed something major since it wasnât like you at all to just ignore him like this. He thought back to the last time he saw you, which was last Thursday morning, and tried to remember everything that happened, and if you seemed off.Â
As far as he could tell, you were as happy as ever that morning. You had invited him over for takeout and old movies on Wednesday, and he ended up staying the night. There was nothing different about you that night, and you were your usual, beaming self. You had forced yourself into his arms when he arrived, then whined when he had to leave the next morning.Â
He hadnât seen you since then, and he hadnât been able to reach you since then, so he wasnât sure when something couldâve possibly happened that is making you be so closed off with him.Â
Maybe you just needed some space. Maybe you were going through something right now, and you just needed a little time to yourself, even though Jax would be a little offended that you didnât come to him if something truly is bothering you. You tell him everything, and he tells you everything, with the exception of the club, because he didnât want you anywhere near that lifestyle. You were way too good for it.Â
He wasnât ashamed of it, but he also knew that you were far too sweet and far too innocent to be caught up in that part of his life. Every other part was as much yours as it is his, though.Â
It was Wednesday now, and despite his best efforts to get you to talk to him, Jax had received radio silence on your end. He tried going over to your place, but you either werenât home, or you simply didnât come to the door, and itâs not like he could just show up at your work. You worked at an elementary school, and he didnât have kids, so that wouldâve looked fucking weird.Â
The clubhouse was booming, the framed mugshots shaking on the walls from how loud the music was, and every room was flooded with the guys that made up the club, as well as a fair share of crow eaters.Â
Yet another raging Samcro party was in full swing, and while Jax normally enjoyed the parties, it was hard to ignore the way his arm hung loosely by his side, instead of it being draped over your shoulder or wrapped around your waist. It was normal for you and him, so to not have you here was a little unnerving.Â
Even before you and he got together, you were always under his arm. You didnât like crowded places, and you werenât all that familiar with anyone who made up Samcro except for himself and Ope, so you naturally stayed close to him. He didnât mind it at all, in fact, Jax loved having you glued to his side.Â
Sure, it usually meant the girls stayed away from him, and even though there were some nights he craved finding one and taking her back to his room to try and find something in her that heâd only ever found in you, he never minded having you by his side.Â
The thought of taking any of these girls back to his room made him cringe now, because you were the real deal. What he has with you is unlike anything else heâs ever had before, and heâd become rather spoiled by you in the months youâd been together.Â
He hated thinking about the nights heâd spend with you at parties, then the times heâd instantly take one of the crow eaters back to his room once youâd gone home, and heâd fuck her while pretending she was you.Â
It felt like a waste of time now, especially since youâd always felt something so much stronger than just a friendship with him, and heâd been too much of a coward to do anything about it until now.Â
But that was before. Now that heâs got you, he doesnât want to ever let you go. Even though there was some obvious tension with you right now, Jax still wanted you and only you, and that was something he was sure heâd always want.Â
Heâd sent you a quick text earlier, letting you know there was a party happening and that he hoped you could make it. He didnât like how desperate he was starting to sound, but he seriously didnât know what the fuck was going on with you. Heâd never really gone this long without seeing or hearing from you, and that fact was making him feel on edge.Â
He wasnât sure if you were coming tonight, so his mood was a little sour as he leaned against the side of his bike outside, his second beer of the night held loosely in his hand as he smoked a cigarette.Â
His eyes flickered around the lot, his shoulders slumped as he held the smoke in his mouth for longer than necessary. He didnât want to dampen anyoneâs night since he wasnât in that good of a mood, so thatâs why he is outside instead of by the bar.Â
It was also a way he could watch everyone who arrived, and he was shamelessly waiting for you.Â
And you didnât let him down, because a few minutes later, you were here.Â
But even though you made direct eye contact with him, you didnât come over and say anything to him. You just gave him a short wave before heading into the clubhouse, breaking his line of sight with you completely.Â
What the actual fuck was going on?
Jax assumed you had a bad day, maybe you were still stressed about whatever was bothering you the last couple days, so he gave you some time to come out and see him when you wanted to.Â
But then half an hour went by, and he was still sitting by himself outside, and that was when he went to find you.Â
He walked into the clubhouse after tossing away his third cigarette of the night - he didnât usually smoke this much, but the way you seemed to be avoiding him was making him feel anxious. He found you at the bar, one elbow propped up on the surface as you sipped on a beer. A relaxed smile was on your lips as you talked with Juiceâs girlfriend, the same girl you were chatting with the night Jax kissed you.Â
Tonight felt like that night, and you looked as carefree as you did that night, and for a second, Jax completely forgot that you had ignored his texts all week and hadnât even tried to reach out to him.Â
Jax was already in a better mood at just the sight of you as he crossed the room, easily sliding between bodies until he reached the bar. âHey, you,â he mumbled, coming up behind you and wrapping his arms around your waist. His chin rested on your shoulder, his lips brushing against the side of your neck as he pressed himself against you. âWhere have you been? Feel like I havenât seen you all week.âÂ
Now that you were in his arms, Jax finally felt himself starting to relax. He wasnât used to being away from you, and he wasnât used to not talking to you for days on end like that.Â
And he missed you.Â
The baggy shirt you were wearing smelled like the perfume youâd been using since you were a teen, and it was a scent that he always associated with you since the first time you wore it.Â
He felt his shoulders drop now that he knew you were at least physically okay, but he could feel the way your body tensed up in his arms, and his relief at seeing you was quickly wearing off.Â
Your smile faded, and you forced out a laugh, something that had him furrowing his brows. You lifted your shoulder subtly, making him lift his head off it. As if you didnât want him touching you right now. As if you wanted to get away from him.Â
âYeah,â you muttered, and he could barely hear you over the music. âIâve been busy, I guess.â
That was it?
Jax furrowed his brows even more as he loosened his grip on your waist, but he kept his hands on your hips since he was unwilling to let you go just yet. It wasnât like you at all to reject his touch like that, and youâd never done it before. Youâd usually melt into him and give him that gorgeous fucking smile he loves so much, but you werenât smiling at all right now. If anything, you seemed eager to get away from him, and he fucking hated it.Â
There was a sinking feeling building up inside him, and he felt himself start to panic a bit, but he tried to reel it in as best as he could. âBusy, huh? Too busy to return my calls or texts? Or to come say hi when you got here? Thatâs not like you,â he murmured, his protective instincts flaring up inside him at your coldness. You couldnât even turn your head and look at him. âTalk to me, baby.â
You pressed your lips together, your eyes flickering over to Juiceâs girl as if you were asking her for help to get away from him, and that fucking stung worse than anything.Â
âHey,â he said a little louder, but his voice was also a little desperate as he looked over at Juiceâs girlfriend as well, and the look in his eyes had her quickly grabbing her beer and scurrying away to find her boyfriend. Once she was gone, Jax grabbed your waist and turned you around so you were facing him. âYouâve been avoiding me. Whatâs goinâ on, huh? Since when do you shut me out like this?â
You were looking down at the floor while he tried to get you to meet his eyes, and all he wanted to do was figure out what the hell was going on in that pretty head of yours, because you were acting like a completely different person.Â
âIâm not shutting you out, Iâve just been busy with⌠life, I guess,â you answered, and it was a pretty pathetic excuse. You set your beer onto the surface of the bar behind you before leaning against it and crossing your arms, finally meeting his eyes. âI honestly didnât think youâd notice.â
Your words were offensive, as was the look in your eyes. They were cold, distant and guarded, and for the first time since he met you, he had no idea what you were thinking, and he had no idea how you were feeling.Â
Not being able to read you like he normally does had a look of hurt crossing his face, but he tried to mask it as best as he could. âI wouldnât notice? What are you talking about? Youâre the most important thing in my fuckinâ life, youâre a part of me, of course Iâm gonna notice when you start to avoid me out of nowhere,â he muttered, and he really wished you and he werenât in a room full of people right now.Â
He moved closer to you and reached for your hands, uncrossing your arms and guiding them up to drape around his neck instead. He just wanted to feel close to you right now, physically, because emotionally, it felt like he was talking to the brick wall behind you.Â
âYouâre usually glued to my side, but then you went off and disappeared for days without a word. You thought I wouldnât notice that? Iâm never not thinkinâ about you, baby,â he rasped, leaning down so his forehead was pressed to yours. âWhateverâs got you so distant and closed off, you talk to me about it. Thatâs what we do. Thatâs what weâve always done.â
He wasnât sure if he was getting through to you or not, because you went back to avoiding his eyes, and he knew that if you didnât tell him what he did to piss you off so much, heâd spend the rest of the night, the rest of the fucking week trying to figure out what he did wrong.Â
Your arms were tense around his neck, and he hated how you looked like you wanted to be anywhere else right now. It made him feel like he was losing you, and he didnât know why.Â
âI donât feel like talking,â you said, sounding way too casual as you slid your hands down his chest, and he felt his heart race a bit at the familiar gesture, but then you reached up and gripped his chin between your thumb and index finger, and you turned his head to the left. âThe crowdâs that way if youâre looking to get laid. Iâm going home.â
Jaxâs eyes landed on a group of girls who were obviously interested in fucking him, and the fact that you even pointed them out had his heart stuttering in his chest. His expression hardened as he turned to face you again, and he crowded you against the bar. âWhat the fuck is that supposed to mean? Iâm not interested in them, Iâve only got eyes for one girl in here,â he said, watching as you reached for your jacket. âAnd now youâre telling me that youâre leavinâ?â
You seriously thought heâd throw everything away for a random girl who meant nothing to him? What the hell had gotten so messed up inside your head that would lead you to think things like that? He wasnât sure if he should laugh in disbelief or be utterly offended.Â
âI want to leave, Jax,â you said, your voice sounding tired as you tried to move around him.
He reached for your wrist before you could get far, his skin heating up as he felt the earlier panic start to come back. âDonât run from me, baby. We need to talk about this,â he practically begged, meeting your guarded gaze with desperate eyes. âWhatever this is. I want you. Only you. Donât you believe that?â
Your expression was unreadable as you looked up at him. âSure, Jax,â you said, and his grip loosened on your wrist. âCan I go home now?âÂ
He stepped away from you, his hand falling back to his side as a defeated feeling took him over. âWill you call me later? Or tomorrow?â he asked, fearing he already knew that you wouldnât.
âYeah, sure,â you answered, then you turned around and left without another word.Â
Jax was left standing there feeling like a complete fucking idiot, and he didnât quite understand what just happened. Never had you ever wanted to get away from him so quickly like that before. Never had you ever rejected his touch or refused to even talk to him.Â
He stared at the door for a few more seconds before turning away, and his eyes landed on the group of crow eaters once more. A blonde girl he may or may not have hooked up with in the past gave him a small pout. âAw, baby, did your night just get ruined?â she cooed, leaning forward and pushing her cleavage even more out than it already was. âI can make it better, I promise. Iâll make it so much better. Let me come with you to your room.â
A feeling of nausea bubbled up his throat, but he just forced out a smile as he shook his head, not trusting his voice right now as he headed towards his room. When he was inside, he immediately locked the door in case she decided to follow him.Â
Now that he was away from the smell of alcohol and smoke and the deafening sound of the music, he was left to deal with the countless questions forming in his head. All of which had to do with you, and with yours and his relationship.Â
Heâd never felt so lost and confused, and the fact that you had refused to stay and talk things out with him didnât sit right. It had a lump forming in his throat as he swallowed harshly, his eyes flickering all over his room.Â
Usually after a party, or even during one, youâd be in here with him right now. But he was alone, and you felt so fucking far away.Â
His eyes landed on the polaroid stuck to his mirror, and he pushed off the door and walked over to it, his hand plucking it from its place to get a better look at it.Â
You and he were so young in the picture, and you were so close. That closeness stayed with you throughout all these years, but now it felt like you were slipping away, and he didnât know how to stop it.Â
Did he rush this? Were you not ready to take this step with him after all? Had he completely misread things?
The sound of the doorknob twisting, then someone knocking broke him out of the trance heâd fallen into, and he closed his eyes tightly before turning around and unlocking the door.Â
âI donât wanna have sex with you,â he said when he swung the door open, thinking it was the blonde girl who thought she still had a chance with him now that heâs with you.Â
But it wasnât the girl. It was his fucking mom.Â
âWell, thatâs a relief,â she said as she let herself into the room, and Jax felt his face flush as he shut the door behind her and locked it again - just in case. Gemma turned and looked at him, and her gaze softened as she took in the conflicted and hurt look on his face. âI assume you meant to say that to one of those girls who are always eyeballing you?â
Jax huffed, âYeah,â he muttered, shaking his head as he looked down at the polaroid again. âWhat are you doing in here?â
She shrugged as she moved to sit on the end of his bed. âClayâs shitfaced and I donât really feel like putting up with that right now,â she answered, then her own eyes flickered to the picture in his hand. âYou know, when I took that, I couldâve sworn you two would end up getting married one day.â
Jax lifted his gaze and looked over at her, then he slowly shook his head. âNo. Iâm not talking about relationships with my mom,â
âWhy not? You listen to me complain about Clay all the time,â she stated, leaning forward and bracing her elbows on her knees. âBesides, I know her. Itâs not like sheâs just some random girl. Sheâs the girl, isnât she?â
Jax dropped his gaze to the picture once more, his eyes trailing all over your younger self. âYeah. She is,âÂ
Gemma tilted her head expectantly. âSo whatâs going on?â
He pursed his lips, his shoulders lifting in a shrug. âI donât know. But I fucked it up somehow,âÂ
She furrowed her brows. âWhat do you mean?â
Jax shrugged again and tore his eyes away from the photograph. âSheâs acting different. She hasnât talked to me in days, and tonight it was like she couldnât get away from me fast enough,â he mumbled, a bit embarrassed that he was talking to his mom about his relationship troubles at the ripe age of thirty one. âI know I fucked up somehow, but I donât know when, because she doesnât want to talk to me.â
Gemma hummed, nodding slowly as she gestured for him to sit with her. âWell, when was the last time she wanted to talk to you?â she asked once he was sitting on his bed next to her.Â
Jax tipped his head back, frustration building up inside him as he tried to think about that answer. âFriday. Last week,â he replied, âI missed her calls because Clay had me out doing all this shit for him, and when I got back and tried to call her, she wouldnât answer. Tonight is the first time Iâve seen her in a week, and all she wanted to do was fuckinâ get away from me.â
âHm,â was all she said back for a few seconds as she shifted her gaze to the floor. âWell, we all go through things we donât want people to see us go through. But you love her, and she loves you. I canât remember a time you two werenât in love with each other. You just need to be there for her, like I know you will be. Maybe she just needs a little more time, and she needs you to give that to her.âÂ
Jax locked his jaw as he looked down at the old stains on his jeans. âI miss her,âÂ
Gemma smiled at him, wrapping her arms around him in a tight, brief hug before she pressed a kiss to his cheek. âYou two are gonna be fine. Youâve known each other too long to not be,â she said as she stood up and took the polaroid from him, putting it back in its place on his mirror. She opened the door to his room, then paused and looked back at him. âThereâs some blonde out here waiting for you. Iâll send her on her way. Night, baby.â
Jax groaned and ran his hands down his face as she closed the door behind her, and he quickly stood up and locked it for the third time before he unzipped and kicked off his jeans, then tossed his shirt onto the floor and got into bed. It was still early, but he was done partying for the night, because heâd never be able to enjoy himself because of whatever was going on with you and him.Â
The next day, Jax was actually working in the shop for once when Ope stopped by, Kenny and Ellie hanging off him with big, innocent smiles directed up at their dad. âHey, man,â he greeted, prying Ellieâs hand off his arm so he could greet Jax with their usual half hug. âHow are you doing?â
Jax shrugged, wiping his greasy hands on the cloth before shoving it back into the pocket of his jeans. âNot bad,â he answered as Ope gestured for his kids to go look at the vintage car that was in the shop for repairs.Â
âOh yeah?â he laughed once they were away. âYouâre lyinâ to me now?â
Jax let out a huff as he shook his head. âItâs kinda hard to be in a good mood when your kids have seen my girlfriend more than I have this week,â he muttered, hating the fact that he felt envious of an eight and an eleven year old. Youâre Ellieâs teacher, and Jax actually felt jealous that sheâd gotten to see you every day this week. How low could he possibly get?
Ope furrowed his brows, a confused look taking over his face. âWhat? What are you talking about?â he asked, âShe was just here last night, was she not?â
âYeah, for about five seconds before I tried talking to her and she went home,â he mumbled, giving his best friend a defeated look. âI donât know what I did, but sheâs pissed at me.â
âSheâs never been pissed at you,â Ope said, crossing his arms over his chest. âDid you and her get into a fight when she was here last Friday? You tend to say nasty shit when youâre tryinâ to prove your point.âÂ
Jax couldnât even feel offended at that, because he was too busy feeling confused instead. âFriday? What are you talking about? I didnât see her on Friday,â
Now Ope was wearing an equally confused expression. âWell, she didnât come here to see any of us,â he laughed, then continued when Jax narrowed his eyes. âShe came over Friday morning before work. I would know, I was the one who told her where to find you.â
Jax felt his ears start to burn at that, and he straightened up a bit. âI never talked to her on Friday,â he stated, but his voice was quiet, like he was finally starting to figure it out.Â
âWell, maybe she waited as long as she could for you and Clay to finish talking, but she had that big school trip last week. She probably wouldâve been late if she waited any longer,â Ope offered, and Jax just nodded slowly.Â
You were here on Friday, but Jax had somehow completely missed you. You never mentioned anything about that last night, not that youâd really mentioned anything at all, but Friday was also the same day he realized something was off.Â
âIâm gonna go see her,â he said, already moving across the lot to where his motorcycle is. Ope just waved him off then went to go collect his kids, and Jax was off to your place.Â
It was after school now, meaning you should be home, so when Jax arrived at your house, he was fully expecting you to answer the door.Â
But as he raised his hand to knock for the fourth time, he was growing more agitated than before. âCome on, baby, I know youâre home,â he said, loud enough so you could hear him, but not loud enough to cause a scene for any of your neighbours to see.
When you finally swung the door open a few seconds later, you looked just as gorgeous as you did last night, but also just as annoyed. âWhat?â you asked, your voice sounding irritated as you leaned against the doorframe and crossed your arms.
Youâd changed into your after work clothes, which was just a long shirt and comfy shorts, and it was one of his favorite looks on you, but then again, he thought you looked hot in everything you wore.Â
âWhat?â he echoed, narrowing his gaze as he shook his head. âYou didnât call me last night when you got home. And something tells me you werenât going to call me today either, am I right?âÂ
You didnât answer him, you just gave him a blank look. âWhat do you want, Jax?â you muttered, then straightened up when he pushed past you and walked into your place. âHey-â
He turned to face you once he was standing in your living room, and he mirrored your stance, his arms coming up to cross over his chest. âWhat the fuck is goinâ on? Youâve been MIA for days, and now youâre giving me the cold shoulder,â he said, watching the way you clenched your jaw. âTalk to me, please. What did I do to piss you off so much?â
You glared at him for a few seconds, then you stood up straight, blindly reaching behind you to close the door. âNothing,â you lied, and he knew you were lying, and he was sure you knew that too. âIâm fine.â
Jax shook his head as you moved to stand in front of him, and then you were draping your arms around his neck, but you still had that far away look in your eyes, like this was just something you had to do, rather than something you wanted to do. âNo, youâre not,â he said back, but you just shook your head.Â
Then you were leaning up and pressing your lips to his in a firm kiss, the first one youâve shared all week. And Jax immediately melted into it, his lips moving softly against yours as his hands instinctively went to your hips. He couldnât help it. Heâd missed you way too fucking much this week, and even though you were all over the place, he was greedy for you. For any part of you.Â
The kiss was filled with frustration from both of you, longing on his end, and bitterness on yours. One of his hands came up and cupped the back of your neck, his fingers tangling in your hair as he deepened the kiss until he physically couldnât kiss you anymore.
When he pulled away, he pressed his forehead to yours like he normally does after kissing you, but then you flinched, and the relief he felt had once again disappeared.Â
Jax stepped away, his jaw locking a bit as he looked down at you. âTell me whatâs wrong. Something isnât right with us, and I wanna know what it is,â he demanded as he crossed his arms, finally having had enough at this point. âYouâve never acted like this with me before. Did I fuck up somehow? Say something to make you mad?â
You huffed quietly, your shoulders dropping as you rolled your eyes. âYou really want to talk right now?â you asked, moving towards him again, your hand reaching out to tug at the belt loop of his jeans. âI can think of something a lot more fun to do.âÂ
Jax felt the usual desire building up inside him at your words, and your suggestive action, but he caught your wrist in his hand, gently guiding it away from his jeans. âNo, baby. We need to talk first,â he said, his voice firm as he tried to get you to meet his gaze. âNo more bullshit.â
Why you were suddenly coming onto him like this after you seemed to be repulsed by him last night was beyond him, and your odd behaviour just concerned him even more.Â
He was always ready for you, but right now, his body wasnât reacting to your advances because even it knew something was wrong, and he knew that if he were to say fuck it right now and have sex with you without actually figuring out what was wrong, it would just feel so⌠wrong.Â
Something was bothering you, and he couldnât focus on anything else until he knew what it was.Â
Jax pulled you over to the couch, guiding you to sit before he knelt down in front of you, forcing you to look at him now that he was at your eye level. âI can feel you pulling away from me, and I donât like it one goddamn bit. I canât fuckinâ stand it, baby,â he mumbled, taking your small hands in his big ones. âAnd Iâm not gonna let you distract me with sex until weâve talked this out. Youâre way too important to me for that shit.âÂ
He felt the way you tried to pull your hands from his, but he just tightened his grip. âYou donât want to have sex with me right now? You seriously just want to talk?â you asked, your voice laced with disbelief, and he wasnât sure why that was such a big surprise to you since heâd talked to you a hell of a lot more times than heâs had sex with you. Â
Before he could open his mouth and question you on it, you continued,Â
âI thought sex was all this was to you. I thought this was all you wanted from me. Is it not?â you asked, âOr is that just something else I was wrong about?â
That had him reeling back a bit, his lips parted as his gaze narrowed. âJesus Christ, baby, is that really what you think?â he couldnât hide how offended he felt by your words, or the way a feeling of anger built up inside him at your question. âYou canât be serious, I- yeah, sex with you is amazing, but itâs not all I want. It ainât even close.â
You scoffed and looked away, but he reached up and guided your gaze back to his, his eyes hard and his jaw set.Â
âI care about you more than anything, more than just the physical shit. Youâre my best friend, my ride or die. Yeah, I want you physically, but itâs so much more than that. Havenât I made that clear by now?â he asked, hoping like fuck he was getting through to you at least a little bit, because if this was just about sex, then that would be an easy fix.Â
It wasnât.
You let out a groan of frustration, your eyes squeezing shut as you tipped your head back. âFucks sake, Jax. Havenât you realized this yet?â you muttered, roughly pulling your hands away from his as you stood up and put some distance between you and him. âI heard you. I fucking heard you when you told Clay Iâm just another girl to you. That Iâm not important. That Iâm nothing.â
Jax froze, his eyes widening as his heart stopped beating inside his chest. His blood ran cold, and he felt a light sweat begin to form on his skin - a telltale sign that he had been caught. Heâd been caught doing something fucking horrible to the one person he knew that never deserved it.Â
It all made sense now. Youâd come over to the clubhouse on Friday morning, and you heard him lie his fucking ass off to Clay in an attempt to shield you from this side of his life. Thatâs why youâd been ignoring his calls, thatâs why youâve been avoiding him, thatâs why you wanted fucking nothing to do with him last night.
You thought you werenât important to him. You thought you werenât the most important person in his life. You thought he wanted you for just sex and nothing else.Â
Jesus fucking Christ.Â
He slowly stood up, his expression one of horror and guilt. âNo, thatâs not true. I swear to God itâs not true,â he swore, taking a step towards you. âBaby, you gotta believe me. That was a fuckinâ lie, okay? I said that shit to protect you, to keep Clay off your back.â
You glared at him, a humorless laugh leaving your lips. âCut the shit, Jax,â
He shook his head quickly. âNo, I swear. I never meant for you to hear that shit. It was a lie. A fuckinâ stupid lie to keep you away from all this bullshit,â he pressed, sounding more desperate than he ever had in his life. âYouâre not just some girl to me, youâre everything. I love you, Iâve loved you for so long.â
âOh, donât even try to fucking lie to me right now, Jax,â you muttered, glaring at him even more as your eyes filled with tears, and he had never hated himself more than he did right now. âI fucking heard you. You said I meant nothing to you, and you implied that we were just fucking around. You expect me to just believe you lied about that? I heard those words come from your mouth with my own ears.â
Jax hated it when you cried, because it made him panic more than anything else ever had. It was one of the worst sights to see, your pretty eyes tinting red and filling with tears, but these ones were all because of him, and that made it even worse.Â
âPlease. I swear on my life, Iâm telling the truth. I wanted to make Clay think you didnât mean anything to me so heâd back off and leave you alone. It was all bullshit to keep you away from all this fuckinâ darkness I have around me,â he begged, taking another step towards you. âEverything Iâve done is for you, to protect you. I love you more than anything.â
You shook your head quickly, your body tensing up as you crossed your arms tighter across your chest, a way to protect yourself from him. âNo. No, donât you fucking say that. You donât get to say that to me,â you said, shoulders beginning to shake a bit. âYou donât get to tell me you love me when youâre a liar. You canât tell me that when I donât even know whatâs real and whatâs not anymore.â
Jaxâs heart shattered at the obvious wall you were building up around yourself. You were building it up to protect yourself from him. âIâm sorry. Iâm so fuckinâ sorry, baby. I never meant to hurt you. Never. I just want to protect you,â he whispered, his throat closing up as his own emotions started rushing to the surface. âI know I fucked up. I know I fucked this up, but you need to believe me when I say that youâre my whole goddamn world. I love you.â
You winced at his words, tears beginning to roll down your face in waves as your whole body began to shake. âIâm so fucking confused,â you cried, covering your face with your hands as you sobbed. âYou donât know how much it hurt to hear you say those things about me. You, of all people. It felt like I was fucking dying, Jax. I was a mess for days.â
He moved quickly, his strong arms wrapping around you like a shield. You resisted for a few seconds, but he just held you tighter, and you slumped against him. âIâm sorry. Iâm sorry. Iâm so sorry,â he rambled, pressing a series of kisses to your temple and to the top of your head. âI love you so much. Iâm so sorry.âÂ
Jax slowly moved down until his back was against the front of the couch, and you were on his lap, your sobs muffled against his neck. Heâd never felt so helpless before as he held you, his own eyes burning with tears he didnât even deserve to shed right now.Â
âYouâre my heart, and I was scared of what this life would do to you, so I lied to try and keep you away from it. At least until you warmed up to it,â he murmured, pressing another kiss to your head. âYouâre the only thing thatâs ever made sense to me, baby. Iâd fuckinâ die for you, I swear I would.âÂ
You were his past, his present, and he wanted you to be his future too. He couldnât live without you, he wouldnât. He didnât know how to, and he didnât want to. He didnât know how he was going to fully fix this distance he put between you and him, but he wouldnât give up on you. That was one thing heâd never do.
Your eyes were red and you had streaks of tears on your cheeks when you pulled away from his neck. Your face was flushed, and your bottom lip was trembling as you looked at him, and yet you were as pretty as ever to him. âI want you to tell me everything. I want to know everything, even the things you donât want me to know, okay?â you weakly requested, âThatâs the only way this will work. And as long as you donât say things you donât mean about me, even if you think youâre just protecting me.â
Jax felt like his heart was in his throat as he slumped back against the couch, his hands coming up to cradle your face. His thumbs wiped at your tears, the tension in his body fading a bit as looked up at you. âMy pretty girl,â he rasped, his voice quiet as you hesitantly leaned into his touch. âYou deserve so much more than me. But youâre mine. And I promise Iâll tell you everything. Anything you want to know.â
You nodded slowly, your shaky hands coming up to rest on his shoulders. âWeâll start slow. Take our⌠take our time,â you stated, your breathing starting to even out, though your voice was still quiet. âBut no more lies, Jax. No more secrets, or I swear I will never talk to you again.âÂ
Like hell heâd ever let that happen. âNo more lies, no more secrets,â he vowed, and he hoped like hell heâd be able to stick to it. In this world, his job had always been to protect you, he wasnât about to stop now. You were his biggest weakness, but you also made him stronger, because thanks to you, he has something to fight for now. âIâll never stop lovinâ you, baby. Never. You have to believe that.â
He heard the way your breath hitched, and felt the way your hands gripped his shoulders tighter, and he watched as a small, hesitant smile formed on your face. âI do,â you murmured, then pursed your lips. âWell, at least I think I do.â
Jax shook his head, one of his hands coming up to cradle the back of your neck, and he pulled you flush against him. âI shouldâve found a better way to protect you,â he muttered, his other arm wrapping tightly around your waist. âIâll make this better. Iâll make it right.âÂ
He had to, because he couldnât live without you.

âžâ.Ëâ summary; A club BBQ is happening and Gemma ropes you into helping with the food and drinks. The crow eaters are trying hard to get the Sonsâ attention, but the guys canât stop watching you.
âžâ.Ëâ wc; 1,608 words
The California sun hung low and golden over the lot, turning the asphalt into a shimmering black sea. The air smelled of charcoal smoke, sizzling meat, and the faint tang of motor oil that never quite left the grounds. Gemma had declared it a "family BBQ," which really meant half the club, a handful of prospects, and way too many crow-eaters circling like perfume-drenched vultures.
You'd shown up in a black cropped tank top that clung to your curves from the heat, ripped jeans hugging your hips and thighs, scuffed boots, and your hair twisted up in a messy bun with a few stray strands sticking to the back of your neck.
You had no idea it made every Son in the vicinity lose focus the second you stepped out of your car.
"Damn, darlin'," Jax drawled from where he leaned against a picnic table, beer in hand. His blue eyes tracked you like you were the only thing worth watching in the whole yard. "You clean up nice after work."
You laughed, waving a hand dismissively as you grabbed a plate. "This is the opposite of cleaned up, Teller. I smell like a garage."
"Best smell in the world," Opie muttered from beside him, deep voice low enough that you almost missed it. He offered you a cold beer, his big hand brushing yours a second longer than necessary.
Tig was already grinning like a shark, elbowing Juice. "Twenty bucks says I get her to smile first."
Juice scoffed, adjusting his mohawk. "You're on. I've got the tech jokes. Chicks dig that."
You caught the tail end of their conversation and shook your head, amused. "You two betting on who can tell the worst joke? Count me in for the laughs."
Tig's grin widened. "See? Already winning."
The backyard behind the clubhouse was packed. Music thumped from a speaker someone had wired up, classic rock mixing with the pop of bottle caps and the sizzle of burgers Gemma was flipping like a pro. You moved through the crowd easily, helping where you couldâhanding out plates, refreshing drinks, laughing at the prospects' clumsy attempts to impress everyone.
The crow eaters noticed you immediately. A cluster of them near the coolersâtight dresses, sky-high heels, heavy makeupâeyed you with thinly veiled disdain. One blonde in a tiny denim skirt whispered something to her friend, both of them glancing at your grease-streaked tank top and smirking. You smiled politely at them anyway. Club girls were part of the life; you figured it was best to be friendly.
You had no clue they were losing a war they'd declared the moment you arrived.
Chibs spotted you first at the folding table Gemma had set up for cards. He was shuffling a deck with practiced ease, Scottish accent thick as he called out, "Lass! Come sit. These idiots don't know a straight from a flush."
You slid into the chair beside him without hesitation. "I don't really know poker," you admitted, tucking a loose strand of hair behind your ear. The motion made your tank top shift slightly, drawing more than a few eyes. "But I'm a quick learner."
Chibs's grin was slow and warm. "That's my girl." He scooted his chair closer. Close enough that his knee pressed against yours under the table and you could smell the leather and faint cologne on him. "Right, then. Lesson one."
His hand covered yours as he showed you how to hold the cards properly, fingers lingering. You focused on the rules, nodding seriously while he explained suits and ranks. The other Sons drifted over one by one, forming a loose circle around the table.
Jax took the seat across from you, Opie beside him. Happy loomed nearby, toothpick rolling between his lips as he stared down a couple of hang-arounds who wandered too close. Tig and Juice kept up their betting, tossing bills into a growing pile every time you laughed at one of their lines.
"Alright, darlin'," Jax said, dealing the next hand with a smirk. "Story time while we play. Back when Opie and I were sixteen, we thought it was a good idea to boost Clay's old Chevy and race it down Main Street."
Opie chuckled, a rare deep rumble. "Ended up in a ditch. Clay made us detail every bike in the lot for a month."
Gemma appeared behind you, wiping her hands on a towel, a knowing grin on her face. "Don't let them fool you, sweetheart. They were little shits. I caught Jax trying to sneak a girl out his window more times than I can count."
You burst out laughing, nearly dropping your cards. "I can picture it. Leather jacket, cocky grin, probably thought he was invincible."
"Still do," Jax winked.
Chibs leaned in again, his breath warm against your ear as he murmured, "Focus, lass. You've got a pair of kings. Play 'em right, and you'll clean these boys out."
You followed his advice. To everyone's surprise and your own, you started winning. Hand after hand. The crow eaters who had sauntered over were either given a polite distracted smile or straight up ignored. One girl in a mini dress tried to drape herself over Tig's shoulder while batting her lashes at Jax, but both men were too busy watching you chew on your lower lip in concentration.
"Another one?" Juice said, eyes wide as you laid down a full house. "You're a natural!"
You shrugged, cheeks warm from the praise. "Beginner's luck, I guess. Chibs is a good teacher."
Chibs's hand rested on the back of your chair now, thumb occasionally brushing your shoulder. "Aye, that's it. Pure talent."
Happy didn't say much, but every time one of the girls laughed too loudly or tried to insert herself into the conversation, his dark eyes would lock onto them with that flat, unnerving stare until they found somewhere else to be. The toothpick between his teeth snapped once when a brunette leaned over the table a little too far in an attempt to show off her cleavage while asking you for "tips" on how you stayed so "fit working on cars."
You answered earnestly, oblivious. "Just the job, really. Lifting parts all day keeps you moving."
The girl's smile faltered when none of the Sons even glanced her way.
As the sun dipped lower and the string lights flickered on, the competition grew more obvious to everyone but you. A redhead in heels tried to pull Juice away for a dance, but he waved her off with a quick "Maybe later, I'm up against her next."
Tig told an increasingly filthy story that had the crow eaters giggling and pressing closer. Yet, his eyes kept sliding back to you every time you reacted with a surprised laugh and a playful shove to his arm.
Opie stayed quiet, but he kept refilling your drink and handing you fresh napkins when grease from your burger got on your fingers. Jax told more storiesâteenage escapades mixed with club loreâand you hung on every word, completely at ease in the middle of all of them.
You won more hands as the pile of chips and the betting money in front of you had grown ridiculous.
"Jesus Christ," Tig laughed, throwing his cards down. "She's killing us. I'm in love."
You rolled your eyes, thinking he was just being his usual dramatic self. "It's just cards, Trager."
Chibs's arm draped casually along the back of your chair now. "Told ye. Natural talent."
The crow eaters had mostly retreated by then, shooting dirty looks your way when they thought you weren't watching. You caught a few of the glares and offered friendly smiles anyway, assuming they were just having an off night or maybe jealous of the guys' attention in general. Club dynamics were still new to you.
Eventually Gemma called everyone over for dessert, homemade pie and more beer. You stood up, stretching your arms overhead without thinking. The motion pulled your already cropped top up more as half the yard seemed to pause.
"Food's ready, sweetheart," Gemma said, looping her arm through yours and steering you toward the tables. She leaned in, voice low and amused. "You're causing quite the stir tonight."
You blinked, lost, "Me? I'm just hanging out. Everyone's been really nice."
Gemma's laugh was rich and knowing, and Clay gave a subtle wink after hearing it. "I'm sure they have."
The night wound down with more music, a few people dancing near the speaker, and you joining in for one lazy slow song with Juice, who kept stepping on your toes and apologizing with a flushed face. Chibs stole the next one, spinning you smoothly while the others watched. Happy nodded at you from the shadows when you passed, a rare almost-smile tugging at his mouth. Opie and Jax kept finding reasons to be near youâoffering jackets when the evening cooled, asking if you needed anything.
By the time you were saying your goodbyes, the Sons were clustered together, throwing glances your way as you hugged Gemma.
"The girls were so nice!" you told the matriarch, then shook your head. "I don't know why they kept glaring at me thoughâŚ"
The crow eaters stood on the outside, almost pouting, arms crossed as none of the Sons were with them. They'd lost the competition you hadn't even known you were in, and they'd lost badly.
The remaining Sons watched you talk to Gemma, a look of confusion on your pretty face. Tig let out a low whistle. "She's gonna be the death of us."
Jax ran a hand through his hair, smirking but his eyes dark. "Worth it."

happy lowman and the absolute diva that bosses him around
(part 2!). (part 3) (part 4)
Hap knew he was fucked from the second they all walked in the door. Dirty boots leave tiny crumbs of dried mud, and the few other men who had been on the run with him mumble confused words to each other.
Why the fuck is Happy Lowmanâs house soâŚput together?
Everything is brown toned, and clean, and it smells absolutely wonderful. Soft, fur blankets cover a tan couch, and the only light on is one warm lighted lamp. Thereâs animal print towels hanging off the kitchen counters, and plants draping from over the top of them. Nobody even knew he had a goddamn house.
âYou into interior design, Hap?â Tig questions from behind him, looking around in quite a bit of wonder with Chibs.
âJustâŚshut the fuck up, man.â Hap already sounds defeated while he rubs a hand down his face. A door creaks from down the small hallway connected to the living room, and suddenly, a huge ass dog is clomping over to the tall man.
He sighs, and mutters a greeting to the big guy while he bends over to give him a big pat on the side.
âAnd what the fuck is this, David?â A Jersey accent echoes through the home.
A woman, in a black silk robe and her hair up in rollers, now stands at the entry of the hallway with hands on her hips. Happy snaps right up, and starts walking towards her.
âI know, baby, iâm sorry,â Happy starts to reach out for her, to grab her waist, but when he receives a âmhmâ and an unimpressed look, decides not to push it. âHad no other choice, wouldnât have brought âem here if I ainât have to. You know that.â
Heâs pleading basically, while she peaks over his shoulder and looks the men up and down with a mean mug.
âI want them out by noon, latest. And youâre taking Cairo out in the morning.â She disappears back down the hallway, the massive Cane Corso trotting right after.
âDamn, we get you put in the dog house?â Jax grins, arms crossed over his chest and leaning back into the very comfortable couch.
âNah,â Hap throws his wallet and sunglasses in the catch all bowl sitting on the kitchens island. âWent better than I thought it would.â Heâs quick to leave the three men to fend for themselves and walks right down that hallway after her.
She may not have wanted them in her house, but being the good host she is, still cooks up a delicious breakfast.
The men wake up to the smell wafting through the house and find her back in that silk robe with a cigarette dangling from her lips. Thereâs perfectly cooked eggs, french toast in the pan, and crispy bacon.
They stand there awkwardly, watching her grab plates out of one of the cabinets. She spots the three, and after setting her glass dish-ware on the counter, waves a hand with pretty manicured french tips to the bar stools at the island.
âWell, are you going to sit down?â
As the three clamber to sit, the door leading into their backyard swings open and in comes Happy, yawning, with that big dog weaving through his feet.
âHi, baby,â She mutters when the dog patters over to her feet and nudges against her knees. âYou missed your daddy, huh, Cairo? My sweet baby, heâs such a good boy,â
Cairo gets a couple pieces of scrambled egg and sausage, the spoiled boy he is, before the rest is separated onto plates with powder sugar dusted french toast and fresh fruit.
âEat and get out of my house.â She pushes the last plate in front of Jax, who sat the closest to the fridge, before leading Cairo to his bowl full of nothing but the best possible options. Sometimes, Hap thinks that dogs groceries are more expensive than theirs, with all that raw shit.
âGet me a water.â Happy speaks up for the first time that morning, at least outside of their bedroom. She remains right next to her baby, doesnât even glance up.
âUh, sweetheart,â Jax starts with a mouthful of french toast after they all sit in a minute of awkward silence. âI think your old manâs asking for a water.â
âOh,â She scoffs, leaning against the island, and pointing to the fridge. âMy man doesnât talk to me like that. Get him a goddamn water blondie.â
The rest of the breakfast is as awkward as youâd assume. The three stand by the door after theyâre all done eating, and pretend like they canât hear the two talking in the kitchen twenty feet away.
She leans her back against the sink with all six feet of Hap crowding around her.
âDavid, you know I said I was fine with the club shit as long as you kept it out of my house. You know that, Iâve said that for all seven fucking years of our marriage-â
âSeven years?â Tig canât help but breathe out under his breath. âI didnât know he was even goddamned married.â
âI didnât know he had a house.â Jax responds.
âHell, nobody knows âis name is David.â Chibs exasperated.
âAinât ever gonna happen again,â Haps voice interrupts their hushed conversation. âI swear on my life, baby, I swear on yours, itâs a lot more fuckinâ important to me, it ainât happeninâ again. This was the last option, I swear, it wonât even be an option again. Never again.â
His big tattooed hands cup her face as gently as possible while she pouts up at him all pretty.
âDavid,â She starts again, gently and sweetly, pushing up against his chest, and wrapping around his waist. âIf I ever see another reaper that doesnât belong to you in this houseâŚnear my babyâŚyou will never see the light of day again.â
Jax decides to lead himself and the other two men outside after that.

This one isn't my favourite, but I'm trying, and I guess that's what counts.
âDarlinâ, why are you still up?â You momentarily glanced up at Jax before looking back down at your paperwork once more. You needed to finish the new specials by the morning. With no answer, Jax padded towards you, Sweatpants low on his hips. He placed his hands on your shoulders, slowly kneading the tense muscles.
âYouâve been over those hundred times already. Youâve tried them on the boys, and they loved them. Tomorrow, people will be queuing at the door. If not, Iâll deal with them. Your head snapped in his direction. Jax grinned. He knew that would get your attention.
âYou canât threaten my customers. I want them to come back because they enjoy my food, not because my boyfriend threatened them.â Jax smirked.
âOnly if you come to bed.â You rolled your eyes, muttering under your breath about blackmail. It clearly worked. Jax helped you pull your chair out. Frowning as he noticed the bags under your eyes. No doubt this hadnât been your first late night. However, for a while, it would be your last.
He refused to have you working yourself into the ground. Heâd do whatever he needed to. Whether that would be getting the guys to help you out or getting them to hold out promotional materials. What was the point of a prospect if you couldnât use them to help out?
âThank you.â You mummbled barely audible.
âIâve got you, Darlinâ. Donât worry. We look out for each other, remember. You stop me from going to jail, and I stop you from running yourself into the ground.

during the clubs secret santa drawings, you pulled out Jaxâs name.Â
you had been friends for as long as you could remember, but finding a gift for Jax proved to be harder than you expected.Â
Jax had most things he wanted, and what he didnât have, he went and got it himself anyways.Â
so being the one to get him a gift was proving more difficult than you expected.Â
he had everything you could think of, every idea falling flat on its face as soon as it crossed your mind. fail after fail, making you groan out in frustration.
why was he such a hard man to give a gift to?
the ideas kept coming, and failing, until one thing stuck.
there was one thing Jax wanted and didnât have, and every time he had asked in the past, you had told him no. not because you didnât want to give him it, but because it made you feel good telling Jax Teller no.
Jax had been asking for it for as long as you could remember, now you were ready to finally give him it.
you were the it in question.
he had told you about his feelings one night when he was high, before asking you to let him fuck you, which promptly earned him a ânoâ in response.Â
but it wasnât that you didnât feel the same way about him, you just didnât want to be another notch on his belt before he moved on to the next woman.
now though, you had been around the club long enough to have worked up the courage to finally allow Jax between your legs.
tonight was the gift exchange, everyone who was participating was gathered at the clubhouse, various gift sizes and shapes surrounding the group.
Tig had started, passing his gift to Chibs, a bottle of whiskey being unwrapped with a chorus of laughs while Chibs muttered about the stereotypical gift.
next was Chibsâ gift to Juice, and the circle continued, until only Jax was left to recieve his gift and there wasnât one left in the pile.
âwhereâs my gift..?â
he asked slowly, making a smirk grace your face as you stood from your space, gesturing a hand in the direction of the dorms.
âyour gifts in one of the dormsâ
his eyebrows pulled together in confusion, but he followed you anyways, while a knowing look graced a couple of the guysâ faces.
Jax however, followed you cautiously, his eyes instinctively dropping to watch the sway of your hips with every step you took.
but once inside his dorm, Jaxâs confusion only seemed to mount at the lack of gift in the room.
âdarlinâ, if you didnât get me anything you can just say thatâ
you shook your head, amusement and mischief twinkling in your eyes as you held your hands out to him.
âiâm your giftâ
his eyes searched yours, looking for any sign of deceit or teasing, but when he found none, a smirk plastered itself across his face.
Jax took a step closer, easily cradling your face in both hands before crashing his lips against yours in a claiming kiss.
a gasp fell from your lips at his force, his tongue swiping along your bottom lip before pushing into your mouth to move against yours.
he only broke the kiss after a long minute, his lips still curled into a smirk as he spoke against your lips.
âmmhm been waiting for you to finally say yesâ
your hands carefully pushed his kutte off his shoulders, letting it fall to the floor while your hands fell to the hem of his t-shirt, tugging it up and off over his head before Jaxâs lips were back on yours in another heated kiss.
his hands wandered across your body, settling heavily on your hips as he helped lower you down onto the bed, his hips slotted against yours, and the fronts of his thighs flush against the backs of yours.
âwhat made you change your mind?â
Jax asked, his fingers already popping the button of your jeans to tug them down and off, a low and appreciative whistle leaving him once he finally got them off.
another part of your gift was now revealed, the delicate red lace barely covering your core and the wetness hidden beneath the fabric.
âshit darlinâ, look at youâ
you rolled your eyes at his words, but couldnât help the heat that sparked through your body as his eyes roamed shamelessly.
âi didnât know what to get you when i pulled your name, you already had everything i thought of.. then i realised you didnât have the one thing you wantedâ
he hummed along to your words, his hands helping remove your t-shirt before he groaned at your matching lacy bra.
his hands moved across your sides, squeezing at the flare of your hips while his eyes continued to roam with a hunger you had never seen in him before.
Jax leaned in, capturing your lips in another kiss while you moved your arms around his neck, pushing your left hand up and into his hair to control the kiss.
âyouâve wanted me since foreverâ
you whispered against his lips, laughing to yourself at the look on his face before he ducked his head, stealing another kiss.
âand now iâve got youâ
there was a hint of possessiveness in his words, an undertone you had never expected Jax to use in regards to you, but it wasnât unliked or unwanted.
a gasp fell from your lips again as Jax trailed his kisses lower, his teeth nipping across your skin as he rested his chin on your chest.
âiâm not letting you go now, darlinâ. youâre all mineâ
his hands slid around your body, unclasping your bra with a practised ease, before another groan fell from his lips.
he tossed your bra aside, already marvelling at your boobs once they were revealed to his hungry gaze.
âyou know, my gift was more about letting you fuck me.. not letting you slowly strip me nakedâ
Jax quirked a brow at you, sitting up on his knees while you lay back on your elbows, matching his stare.
you had a way of matching Jax, regardless of what it was on, but his teasing and flirtatiousness wasnât one of those things.
even now as you lay almost bare beneath him, your words lacked the whit you had intended.
âslowly getting you naked is part of me fucking you, but if you want we can speed this upâ
before you could properly register his words, Jax was undoing his belt and shucking down his jeans, followed by his boxers until his cock sprang free.
he was already hard and leaking, his right hand wrapping around himself, slowly starting to move his hand.
the sight sent heat flooding through your body, the feeling of your underwear suddenly too tight and restrictive while Jax stroked his cock between your legs.
carefully, you hooked your thumbs into the waistband of your underwear, quickly pulling them down and off to join the rest of the clothes on the floor.
âshit sweetheart, youâre soakedâ
Jax groaned, his hips rocking into his hand as his eyes zeroed in on your core.
his tongue poked out to wet his lips, shuffling closer to you until his thighs were flush against yours again.
âyou gonna let me fuck you now?â
he asked, his hand still moving along his cock while a whine bubbled up your throat.
âarenât you a strictly condoms guy?â
a groan of frustration left Jax at your question, because it was the truth. he always wore a condom when he fucked women, but you were different, you werenât like the rest of them.
Jaxâs left hand moved to the bed by your head, easily leaning over you before he captured your lips in another kiss.
when he pulled back, he rested his forehead against yours.
âdidnât think iâd be fuckinâ anyone tonight, i donât have oneâ
you laughed at his words, unable to contain the noise or the amusement that danced in your eyes.
âreally? you fuck a different woman every nightâ
he huffed, even if the honesty of your words rang loud and clear.
the heat between you both was too much to bear. Jax had slowly been chipping away at your walls for the past month, and now that he was finally between your legs, you couldnât say no, even if he didnât have a condom.
which wasnât actually a problem, you just wanted him to be that little bit more desperate for it.
âiâm on the pill Jax, itâs okayâ
his eyes searched yours again, before he nodded, his lips capturing yours again in another heated kiss.
he grunted against your lips, his hand continuing to work his cock while the slick sounds of him jerking off filled the room.
âyou gonna let me fuck you now?â
you nodded slowly, watching as Jax moved the head of his cock through your wetness, a joint moan leaving both of you before he nudged himself at your entrance.
Jax looked between your cunt and your eyes, trying to restrain himself enough to hold himself back.
but when your hips rocked towards his, Jaxâs restraint snapped.
his hips rocked forwards, slowly starting to push into you while your hands grabbed at his shoulders, moaning at every inch that disappeared into your warmth.
âoh fuckâ
he groaned, dropping his forehead to yours again while your back arched up off the bed.
Jax caught your lips in another kiss, swallowing down your moans as he finally bottomed out, his hips completely flush against yours.
âthatâs it darlinâ, iâve got youâ
your fingers tangled in his hair while he gave you a minute, letting you adjust to the size of his cock inside you, especially without any foreplay.
âdo you normally fuck your girls without any foreplay, Jackson?â
you asked, combing your fingers through his golden locks while he huffed a chuckle, nipping at your bottom lip and then soothing the sting with his tongue.
his body shifted against yours, his chest flush against yours and your legs wrapped tight around his waist.
âonly the girls that donât matter.. i had to be inside you, couldnât waitâ
he told, moving his right arm to hook under your neck to deepen the angle and connection, keeping your body fully against his.
ânext time, iâm eating your pussyâ
a moan tore from your throat at his words, nodding slowly and rocking your hips towards him.
Jax hummed, starting to rock his hips with steady thrusts.
âcanât wait to taste youâ
his lips caught yours in another kiss, smirking to himself as he pulled back until only the head of his cock remained inside your warmth, pulling a whine from your throat, before he pushed back in and started a steady pace.
your arms wrapped tighter around his neck, clinging to him while his left hand hooked under your knee, holding your leg high around his hip.
the bed creaked under you as Jax deepened his thrusts, using his hand under your knee to drive deeper than he otherwise could.
âfuck darlinâ, you feel like heavenâ
he groaned, finding your lips in another kiss and easily swallowing down your moans as they fell from your lips like water.
âJax..â
you whined, grabbing a handful of his hair to pull him down into another kiss, making him smirk against your lips.
Jax was cocky, but you could see the desperation chipping away at his restraint, already barely holding on to being his usual teasing self.
âdoes that feel good darlinâ?â
he asked against your lips, his hips bucking into you and giving another sharp thrust, causing your walls to ripple and flutter around him at the movement.
you nodded at his question, unable to stop your moans to answer him with words.
pleasure had painted your face, contorting your features with the bliss sparking through your body with every rock of Jaxâs thrusts.
the room had started to fill with the sounds of your joint moans, Jaxâs restraint slipping by the seconds, while the steady slapping of skin on skin followed each moan you both let out.
âfuck.. you feel so goodâ
his lips were parted in his own groans, already kissing you again with more force than his previous kisses.
another groan of protests came from the bed, each sharp thrust from Jax making the wood splinter with his force.
Jax angled his hips, pressing his knees into the mattress to deepen his thrusts, driving deeper into you.
the head of his cock hit that one spot that had you seeing stars, heat continuing to prickle at your skin and your moans growing louder with every snap of his hips.
âfuck Jax..â
you moaned out, already hurtling towards your climax.
it shouldâve been embarrassing, already nearing your peak, but it felt so different with Jax. despite his flirtatious and teasing persona, he made you feel wanted.
so the embarrassment of finding your orgasm so soon faded with every snap of Jaxâs hips.
âshit, already darlinâ?â
a whine fell from your lips again at his words, only managing to nod in response as your cunt fluttered around him.
Jax grunted, his eyes watching your face while he thrusted into you again and again, your walls continuing to flutter around him and greedily pull him in deeper.
another throaty groan fell from his lips, a pink hue dusting his skin as he lost himself in the feeling of you.
âoh Jax..â
you moaned as the head of his cock hit that one spot again, his lips capturing yours in another kiss, while every thrust hit with more precision than the last.
âiâve got you darlinâ, iâve got youâ
he grunted against your lips, allowing you to pull him down into another kiss before you maoned against his lips as the head of his cock hit that spot again.
another creak came from the bed as Jax doubled down on his thrusts, determined to send you over the edge first before he let his own orgasm wash over him.
âthatâs it baby, cum for meâ
each thrust pushed you closer and closer, until it was too much.
Jax rocked into you one more time before you crested over into your orgasm, your cunt spasming around him as your release washed over you, sending heat sparking through your body.
âthere we go, thatâs my girlâ
his lips captured yours in yet another kiss, swallowing down your moans while his hips stuttered at the tightness of your cunt clamping down around him.
your release soaked his cock, filling the room with the lew wetness of your cunt as his thrusts continued.
âthatâs my girl, make a mess of this cock darlinâ,â
he groaned against your lips, his lips parted and his hips continuing to rock into you, even after he dropped his forehead to your shoulder.
you could feel his desperation in his thrusts, their now loss of rhythm and precision a testament to his restraint hanging on by a thread.
Jax was trying to find his own peak, and you were determined to help him there.
your fingers carefully brushed through his hair, gently pulling him up and into another kiss as your cunt fluttered sensitively around him with every thrust he gave.
âfuck.. gonna fill you up baby, gonna give you itâ
his lips pressed to yours in kiss after kiss, grounding himself in the moment as his hips continued their needy rhythm.
he was teetering right on the edge, only able to give one last thrust before he was groaning against your lips and quickly following you over the edge into his own orgasm.
âshit sweetheart..â
the words tumbled from his lips as his cock throbbed inside you, his thrusts uneven and completely losing their rhythm as he pushed in hard and deep, before he let go.
Jax moaned out, nuzzling his face into your throat as he found his release in your warmth with a shallow buck of his hips.
your fingers combed through his hair and his hips continued to grind into you, making sure he gave you every drop of his cum.
âtake it like a good girl.. my good girlâ
the words made you giggle against his ear, holding him like that for a long minute while your fingers brushed through his hair.
his body stayed against yours, and a lazy smirk graced his face once he lifted his head.
âwas it worth the wait?â
you asked, moving your hand to cradle his stubbled cheek before he nodded, already leaning in to steal another kiss.
âwas worth every damn second you made me waitâ
he murmured, deepening the kiss with a sudden renewed hunger, his tongue pushing into your mouth to move against yours.
Jax groaned into your mouth, shifting his position and moving his hands to your hips, keeping you against him as he easily rolled onto his back.
you gasped and broke the kiss, grabbing at his shoulders now that you were situated in his lap.
his eyes twinkled with mischief as he gazed up at you, his thumbs stroking back and forth across your skin before he spoke in a low and amused voice.
âiâm cashing in my gift again, not done with you yet darlinâ, not even closeâ
