but it seems like it's a given the cars will all be slower with a heavy reliance on the battery for not only overtaking but longevity in the races, which throws in reliability concerns. i've seen comments from some of the drivers saying it might be a bit more like formula e in that respect. there's the unreliability of the new engines to last the entire race as well, with no more drs and it's being replaced with a overide feature that's meant to give a temp boost of power, which could either be great or a disaster (again, depends on engine and battery design + performance) all in all, i think it's going to be interesting but potentially messy, at least for 2026.
