Cicada Days: The high-volume "whisper" + "red flags fade to white" are made to be heard live I think. Although my favorite part is "okay I'll pack my stuff."

(I don’t really know what a hayride is, and tbh I’d rather go blackberry picking, but it’s the same idea)

(neither... I loved trick-or-treating when I was little, but can’t really do it now lol)

These two facts were both true, two fragments in the mess of experience that made up his identity.  Some days, some hours, the former seemed more true than the latter.  

Oh he wasn’t alone, as a child of two worlds.  On Ryloth (and even most spaceports, if you knew where to look), he was hardly unique. But yet he was. And not in a good way.
