as for your question, i think my answer is a bit layered. timothée, in terms of presence and aura, embodies regulus almost flawlessly. there’s something about the intensity of his expressions and the way he carries himself that feels like it was pulled directly from the character.

that said, when it comes to looks, i personally imagine mark. he has that soft yet sharp quality in his features that feels so perfectly regulus to me; gentle, but with a certain quiet strength. i think part of why i gravitate toward mark as a fancast is because i hc regulus as trans (ftm), and mark naturally has that softness and delicacy that align beautifully with how i envision him.

so, the way i usually picture it is: in hogwarts au’s, timothée tends to come to mind because his acting aura matches the era and atmosphere so well. but in modern au’s—or really anything outside of canon—i find myself imagining mark, because his face and presence just feel like the regulus who lives in my head.

I imagine they have a bit of a panic or mild mental breakdown then if they find that special MC and start to go a little yandere over them! Commitment issues and yandere don't mix well lol!
