233 days since she had first set foot inside the GrandTech HQ. Bianca had counted every day with pride -- piling up quite a handful of accomplishments since her very first workday. It wasn't all bad for someone like her, who nearly flunked college if it hadn't been for nailing that one final grade.

Who would've thought—Bianca Neroni, once a mere intern, now assistant to one of the most ingenious men in Gotham.

It was almost too good to be true.

Today, however, her task was a little bit different but not entirely uncommon. As she stood by in the lobby waiting, fiddling with her tablet and checking the time at least twice a minute, before the person of interest finally appeared in the entrance.

"---- Hi! Monica, right?"

Her hand, offered forward, was direct but gentle. Accompanied by her polished looks -- she was representing one of the biggest tech companies in the world after all.

"I'm Bianca, Mr. Heckland's assistant. He told me you were coming. You're here to work with Mrs. Duvall, correct? In HR?" .<
