Was listening to music after studying today, so I figured I'd draw some tiny maglors to round out the day :)
i've had this bucktommy fic idea since before they broke up (which i remember so clearly bc the idea shaped into this form after 8x06) which i don't think i ever mentioned idk but it was supposed to be one of those "thinking my bf is cheating on me when he's about to propose" crack fic thing with comedy of errors buck becoming the most embarrassing and most insecure amateur sleuth to see whether his doubts were founded BUT because it is me it would take a genuine angsty turn when he finally blurts out the "are you having an affair? are you leaving me again?" because it would hit tommy like a slap how they are sooooo not on the same page about where their relationship is even after all those years since they got back together. just buck shouting "because you left me already tommy!" and stuttering through how he left him because he didn’t see a future for them and now he's proposing? but once he realizes he fucked up based on the look on tommy's face, he would panic and try to take it back, tell tommy it's okay, just ask me to marry you, i didn't mean it like that, but tommy ofc would leave. anyway 2-3 months montage of tommy coming to terms with how he never really made up for leaving buck in the first place and how they didn't fix much, just walked around it and avoided it and pretended it was all under the bridge with buck coming to terms with hey maybe he was more impacted by that abandonment than he realized and he spent the last five years not even daring to think about marriage being a possibility for them because wasn't that why tommy left him? bc buck would never be ready/enough/right for that? then they make up bc i still want an HEA ok
hello!!! we’re not mutuals so i may also be committing a faux pas here (oops) but if you don’t mind, I would love to hear all about buzzfeed unsolved au!!!! also your system is really cool and the fact that you’ve named one part of the process “noodle” is so fab! lots of love!!
holding ur hand: this is not a faux pas at all and if you'd like to come and say hi off anon i will absolutely rectify the not-mutuals situation, i'm mostly just bad at keeping up with new followers!
I have one big document i refer to as my noodlin' document. For whatever pops into my noodle. So they are noodles while they're still just ideas lmaoooo
Buzzfeed Unsolved AU
I refer to it as such, but honestly, it's similar only in that they are paranormal YouTubers: in this setup, they each have their own shows but are forced together to make one show by the network that buys out the indie production they're both signed to. The shorthand is helpful though. Here, have a snippet which once again proves I'll do anything except write standard prose:
Can a Place Remember? Communal Trauma and the Moonville Tunnel Ghosts RoosterBrad | 193k views | 14 hours ago The Moonville Tunnel in Ohio is often described as one of the most haunted locations in the state. Over the course of several decades, at least twenty-seven people lost their lives in and around the tunnel, largely due to rail-related accidents. In this episode, we’re not asking whether the Moonville Tunnel is haunted in the traditional sense. Instead, we’re examining a different question: whether repeated tragedy can fundamentally alter how a place is perceived. If a place becomes culturally marked by tragedy, does it begin to feel haunted—even in the absence of anything paranormal? As always, sources and further reading are listed below... I hate that the female body is like, “You know what? Bleeding’s not bad enough. Let’s make it really fucking hurt too.”

I LOVED They Cloned Tyrone (2023). it was so freaking fuuuuuuun. It's a mystery case, it's a satire, it's a sci-fi thriller, it's an Erykah Badu song, it's a conspiracy plot, it's a whole overplayed joke, it's perfect.
[spoilers] I loved how it played into the conspiracy theories of mind control through consumerism of products targeted to black american communities and toxic cycles of placing and allowing some businesses and crimes in those areas, all of those to describe how the circumstances/the system can make you into these archetypes. and I loved how these archetypes had this whole growing out off their identity plot while still serving the stereotypes of their characters, in a positive way (the slick of the pimp or the wig, amazing.) I loved how the context is set up so confusedly, with the late 20th century fashion and hair but the 21 century pop cultures references and the obvious in-role characters ; so original in the mix of genres but so familiar in the depiction of those that it keeps you wondering what’s up what’s real what’s fiction what’s anormal from the start. People compared it to They Live and Get Out but most of it, and especially the ending, brought me back to Sorry to Bother You. Big mentions to the cinematography and color grading. So fuuuuuuun, I really enjoyed it.
i hate thwt my mind processes excitement as anxiety bc my heart was POUNDING watching that trailer and my brain went ohhhh we are being chased we are being hunted down
