Muhahaha! I have concocted up an Evil Hectorino + his lore:
• He's very rude to the player upon meeting due to the nasty conditions he's in, such as his rusting metal body, broken pipes and filthy vents. Not to mention he's been malfunctioning for ages but it seems the player can't afford to fix him. He's grown bitter over the homeowner's disregard for his maintenance. Yet, even despite all his rage and frustration, deep inside, he still loves them. Very tsundere, will call you mean stuff but behind closed metal doors he'll rave on and on about how beautiful and cute you are. Even when he's mean, he will not cause you harm. If all goes well and the player fixes him up, or attempts to, he'll soften up. He's coughing constantly because of the dusty vents, same reason his eyes are irritated when revealed. Has hair is thick fog from his broken pipes.

Root gets found around Moon 4 by Honeyshine, WispClan’s lone med cat, who was looking for some stronger poisonous plants than the ones that grow near WispClan territory. A little fact about Honeyshine is that she isn’t the original owner of her body, but instead it once belonged to the ghostly gray kit, Honeykit.
Honeyshine was a Dark forest warrior who managed to escape purgatory by roaming clan territory as a spirit instead, and took over Honeykits body when they were deathly ill one Leafbare
ANYWAYS Root gets taken back to WispClan by Honeyshine, who convinced the leader, Shiverstar, to allow her to take the small kit on as an apprentice. First one she actually wanted, and first one in Moons since the others died from “bad prey”
Basically Root gets adopted by a body snatching killer who specializes in using deadly plants and happens to have her own vendetta. Also as a note only Honeyshine can really see Honeykit, but maybe Root can too…
