#teen wolf#stiles stilinski#mermay#my art#soundtrack: cold reactor by everything everything#time taken: 12h30min#probably 60% of that time was spent on the tail because oh my *god*#smooth curves are not my jam lol#i redid the sketch *so* many times to try and get a natural curve#and after that lining with stabilization on but i didn't like the outcome#so i scrapped it and meticulously free-handed it all#which took forever but worth it!#don't feel like i succeeded in the tail-fin-flopped-over-head part of the pose which was the original point of the pose but ehhhhh#so many other things going on here i had never done before#and the expression was surprisingly difficult to get right but i quite like how it ended up!#the gif is SO CUTE omfg#procreate's gif function is the fucking bomb#so easy#also my layer management has gone to hell after getting the new ipad LOL#this file has.... 259 layers#oops
