Rant About WWE Returns
Something that has annoyed me big time this year, well for the last 2 years (i guessed it a while back) is how the Rock was treated in his return to WWE.
When he first appeared and said he was gonna fight John Cena a year later i knew from that moment he would win, everyone did, it was far too obvious. The build up to it was kinda boring and then he won and pissed off. He popped back in June at RAW1000 to announce he was in the WWE title match at Royal Rumble the following January. I guessed he would end up winning the title from Punk and would fight Cena at Mania again, and it happened.
Now please don't get me wrong, i love the Rock, he is THE MAN, but i cant help but feel him turning up in January, winning the title in his first match back (that pissed me off the most i think) defended it once and then lost it at Mania to Cena before buggering off was a few months where the WWE championship did not mean a lot to me as a fan.
My issues are simple, he still wrestles like he did in 2000 and the standard has risen nicely since then and against CM Punk he seemed rather bad, both times. He had no matches before his title match which annoyed me because it made it feel like he did not deserve it, and it made it seem like Punk is crap when he is actually bloody good. We then had the same slow and not so amazing fight we had the year before at Mania but this time for the belt in which Cena actually won after Rock broke himself.
To have him come back and not be full time while champion is what annoyed me the most. I felt almost like the belt was not around while this was going on and that the WHC was the top prize.
This in my head, we turn to Rob Van Dam returning at MITB to compete for the WWE championship contract. He is not having matches before this PPV and is pretty much the favourite to win it. Thats great, i love RVD but if we have the same scenario where RVD comes in on his first night back wins and thats that then i will have to declare shenanigans as we have some great current talent who are working hard right now and are having matches all the time.
I my eyes that makes them more deserved of the title shot.

My Dream Job
Someone Asked Me To Post My Life Dream Job And Why, So Here It Is
My Dream Job would be to be a Superstar in the WWE. these guys (and girls) get to travel all over the world to perform in front of thousands of people every night. They do what they love and the world gets to watch.
Its not about being famous for me, i dont want to be the guy being followed by every camera crew and not being able to go anywhere because people dont leave you alone, but you cant do this without being famous.
I want to be able to stand in a ring, in front of the world and say these people want to see me do what i do best and enjoy watching. I want to see the world and everything it has to offer. I want to be one of the best Entertainers the world has ever seen.
As corny as it is, i want a job where i can do something fun and different while being something i have to work hard at as well. I don't want to be stuck in an office filling papers and answering phones or even telling people what to do.
So whats yours ?
New Woman NXT Championship Belt - It Looks Awesome !!!
WWE PPV Extreme Rules
Can i start by saying, in my opinion, that this has been the best PPV the WWE has made in months. Its pissed all over Wrestlemania for me.
Every match from start to finish was spot on and they seemed to get better and better as the night went on.
Miz v Cody Rhodes in the pre show was a fine way to start the night, predictable maybe but a solid match indeed.
Chris Jericho v Fandango was the same, a great opening match with a few very nice spots.
Then we get the where things start to get really good. Dean Ambrose v Kofi Kingston for the United States Title. Ambrose showing why he deserves gold and bringing The Shield its first taste.
Mark Henry v Sheamus in a strap match. Now i had no idea what this match was going to be like and i have to say i rather enjoyed it. Yes its not not a match that could pop up every now and then as these two did everything you want in this kind f match in it, but thats actually my point, they did everything i wanted to see and a tad more.
The I Quit match for No1. Contendership on the World Heavyweight Championship was again another great match. Jack Swagger v Alberto Del Rio was not the match we wanted but after Swagger punted Ziggler in the head we will have to settle for this fine one. As before great match with some good moves and a cheeky ending that I rather enjoyed.
Shield round two as Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins go against Kane and Daniel Bryan for the Tag Team gold. yet again the Shield did not disappoint and left the arena with a belt each. This match was so fast paced with move after move after move. Neiter team let up until the finish - Believe In The Shield Now, I Sure Do.
Oh yeh one quick thing, both Shield wins tonight, were Clean !!!!!
Next its the Extreme Rules match with Randy Orton v Big Show and it gave us what looks like a HEEL TURN for Mr Orton as he brought back his Heel finisher to take down the giant. I wanna see Orton as a full blown Heel again as he is just so dam good at it and it makes for some great TV.
Main Event Number 1 Is John Cena v Ryback for the WWE Championship in a last man standing match. Best Match of the night for me. We had tables, chairs, big hit moves both in and out of the ring, an array of weapons and a no contest controversial finish. To be honest i think this finish was the best way to go with it. Can’t really have Cena beat Ryback without more of a build up, in my opinion anyway, and I don’t think Ryback could carry the Prestige of the WWE title just yet either so best way to end. Bloody well done by Cena Ryback and the ref though, we were all heartily convinced that it was genuine.
Main Event Number 2 is the Steel Cage match with HHH v Brock Lesnar in the new Cage. HHH ambushes Lesnar on way to ring so the match starts off with a bang. some great fast paced moments in the first half of the match and as the pace begins to slow the bigger moves come out, followed by a chair and a sledge hammer. Lesnar is so very convincing with the leg and still manages to give HHH hell, but With some big hits back its all secure for Hunter until Paul Heyman hit HHH with a low blow and Lesnar take back control and eventually, the match as well.
All in all a fantastic PPV with some absolute treasures of matches. Like i said even the non Extreme matches were decent. Tonight was the WWE showing off and i loved every bloody second of it. I felt so very gripped to every match, and even with one or two botched moves, i have to say this was the best PPV i have see in months.
I give it an 8 out of 10 … Now to see what happens on RAW :D
