There's something so peaceful about the snowfall, especially as it's falling at night and through the early morning. And in the morning, when there's barely anyone out, it's almost as if you have the whole world to yourself, as nature continues her spectacular show.
It was mind blowing to see the snow coming down so heavily throughout the night. I enjoyed watching the calm determination of the snow as it fell - I can't say that I've ever enjoyed the snowfall as much in the past. Perhaps as I get older, I'm gaining more of an appreciation of snow and Winter in general.
I enjoyed playing in the snow (thank you, @lalalawikit, for always making it fun! ❤️🥰) Snowball fights and laughter ensued as we jumped into massive (impressive!) snowdrifts. We streamed our favorite meteorologist for 12 hours straight each day (Sunday/Monday) as the weather nerds came together to witness snow history - consistently one of the best communities out there!
These pictures were taken in the middle of the storm in the early hours of 2/23/26 but by the end of the day, North Bergen, NJ received around 28 inches of snow! A few towns over, they received 32 inches!
