£800 raised and still plenty of time to raise more!
C and I went on a holiday to north Wales last month. It was the area around Caernarfon and Bangor. We went up Yr Wyddfa on the mountain railway, explored the slate mine and beaches around Harlech and walked around Llyn Idwal. The walk around Llyn Idwal was special for the landscape and the plant life. Although not a rare carnivorous plant, it was still great seeing an abundance of Butterwort (Pinguicula vulgaris) near the streams and bogs surrounding the lake, as well as orchids and thyme.
queuing for the top of a mountain is truely weird behaviour

Over the moon to have raised so much money in well under a month! Such an important charity!
Recently I’ve been missing my grandad more and more and this past week, the grief has hit again like the first day. This means so much to me. That hopefully one day, people like my grandad won’t be failed and they’ll get the help and support they need from day one.
Because my grandad was failed so miserably, by the time his cancer was found, it was too late.
Beyond grateful to everyone who’s donated so far! £635 in just over a week!! Such a worthy cause and I cannot thank everyone enough for their support!
I can’t wait to get to the top of Snowdon knowing that I’m doing it for my Nan & Grandad! 🫶🏽🩷
