For those who know me well, you'll know in the last 6 weeks I've gone through some pretty dark days. I unexpectedly lost everything I cared about, faced homelessness and unemployment and had no certainty of anything. I honestly didn't think I could go on anymore. But against all odds, and after falling so far down, I managed to (with help from some spectacular friends and family) scrape myself back together. I changed flights, changed employer and started fresh. I found a place to live in the hardest housing market I've ever seen. I've met friends that I already treasure. I've risen from my own ashes and become a stronger creature than I ever believed I could be. This orange jacket represents to me the light at the end of the tunnel. I'm truly proud to call myself an instructor for Whistler Blackcomb - my ultimate dream resort to work for. Thank you to everyone who helped me through and got me here, my smile is officially back and bigger than ever. Never give up in life, the darkest nights always give way to the most beautiful dawns. #canada2018 #snowboardinstructor #eartoear #beproud #fighter #madeit #nevergiveup #uniformday #brightestoneyet #wearitwithpride #foreverfun #lookingsharp #whistlerblackcomb #britishcolumbia #dowhatyoulove #getoutthere #doitforyou #enjoytheride #canada #winter #instructorlife #snowboard #sunnydays #professional #riseup (at Whistler, Canada) https://www.instagram.com/p/BqWrqOthS8c/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=cyhkrgl3saeg
