We still worship this love even if it's a false god

I love this song for more than one reason. The only song on the whole album where being in a loving committed relationship with a woman is very blatant. The only song on the album where there’s discussions about alternating or changing the title within the song so it makes more sense. The only song on the album where she’s able to proclaim the name of the person she loves. The only song on the album where she can say Karlie’s name and “her” by using repitition, layering, and background vocals with people being non the wiser. In the performance, you can see her struggling to contain her happiness and smugness about being able to. Turn it into an acoustic enough said..  Just a beautiful song because she can profess being in love with a woman while holding her middle finger up to the world.
