I posted a video doing serpent vocals, and the comments were interesting. I do not necessarily "care" for them, other than the positive ones. I do believe that my "human" weight and appearance have some sway in how people reacted. This humanoid form has large breasts, a large belly, and a double chin, it is not ugly, simply not conventionally attractive. It also may have been the vocals as well, King Cobras do not hiss the exact same as most snakes. It is like the mix of a hiss and a growl, almost breathy and slightly deep. I believe I did a great job at it for my 14th attempt at hissing like one in this form, a friend could not tell the difference between me and a snake through the raw audio. But the problem lies where the uninformed and the ignorant decide they are correct. There was only a single commenter who was actually kind to me. There was even another therian who thought that my vocals were weird, not even interesting, but shameful and strange. I believe that there is genuinely a problem in the community on tiktok where if your vocals are not good by everyone's standards, or are of a species they do not understand, they shame you. I am not going to quit posting, that would be strange, as the people who were nasty only irritated me and made me wish to inform. I am only going to keep in mind the fact that most of the tiktok therian community seems to only like what is flashy and colorful. Too bad for them, good for me, I do not care to cater to anybody.
