This Almond Garlic Hummus recipe from The Almond Eater is a delicious twist on traditional hummus. Creamy and rich with a hint of garlic, it's perfect for dipping or spreading on your favorite snacks.
Ingredients: 1 cup of almonds, soaked overnight. 3 cloves of garlic. 1/4 cup of tahini. 1/4 cup of olive oil. 2 tablespoons of lemon juice. 1/2 teaspoon of salt. 1/4 teaspoon of cumin powder. 1/4 teaspoon of paprika. 2-3 tablespoons of water for desired consistency.
Instructions: Clear the almonds of the water and wash them. Put the garlic cloves and almonds in a food processor and pulse them together. Pulse them until they are very small. Put the lemon juice, salt, cumin powder, paprika, tahini, and olive oil in the food processor. Mix until it's creamy and smooth. Mix in another two to three tablespoons of water if the hummus is too thick. Do this until you get the consistency you want. If you think the seasoning needs more salt or lemon juice, you can add it. Move the garlic and almond hummus to a bowl for serving. Sprinkle some paprika on top and drizzle with a little extra olive oil. You can eat it as a dip for your favorite snacks or with pita bread and onions. Have fun!
