I have two medications at night; one tablet from a blister pack, one topical gel from a single use pouch.

I always do exactly the same order

1. Gel on leg

2. Gel packaging in bin

3. Indication training with dog using equipment right next to bin

4. Tablets and into bed

I'm sure you can see where this is going

Tonight i

1. Chucked the whole entire blister pack in the bin

2. Did indication training with the dog as that comes after closing the bin lid (it's a kitchen bin as they're dogproof)

3. Went to put gel on leg but wait. why are my hands kinda kibbleish.

4. Washed hands in bathroom

5. Returned to bedroom. Ahha it's bedtime!

6. I've touched the gel packet already today, so next step is indication training.

7. Do indication training. It seems normal.

8. Next step is to take pills. Wait. Where tf are my pills?!

9. Look for pills in so many places

10. Look for spare pills. I need pills to sleep.

11. Give up, do gel.

12. Except don't do gel, as my hands are kibbleish

13. Wait. Hang on.

14. Wash hands in bathroom.

15. Gel. On. Leg. Before. Touching. Anything. Else.

16. Do not put gel packet in him because dog training probs have moved 20cm and are on bin lid.

17. Might as well do training while leg dries?? Dog confused but also happy?

18. Okay next is pills

19. Where are pills?? Okay I do not know, let's tidy up the bin and counter.

20. Put dog stuff on counter.

21. Open bin to put gel packet in. Bin is very full because while putting stuff in the bin is easy now, emptying it is not. Oh. There's a pill blister pack that isn't used in there???

22. Remove pills from bin

23. Take pills. Put pills back on bedside table.

24. Get into bed.

25. Get out of bed because dog who ate too much before bed kibble also then drank a lot and now needs another pee.

26. Take dog to pee.

27. After the dog has his pre-bed pee it's time for gel on leg.

28. Put gel on leg. Was that the right leg foe today? I alternate legs. Wait. Shit.

29. Get into bed.

We have slooooowly worked up to this point! He currently gets 3 kibbles (following a click) for over his head, 1 for over his collar, and one for each of the side clips. Next stage is to incorporate over the collar into the general over the head part, I think.
