Consider this the precursor to a review, guys.

So, in December, I replaced the Alien mod I had that broke into pieces in my hand with a new Alien Mod. I think I had it for a month, and now no matter what, it reads that the Ohms are too high, even with no atomizer on it, which SUCKS!

Well in January, I got a SMOK X-Cube II and a Tesla Invader II, and went to town vaping on them. Well, the X-Cube’s screen fell off AFTER it decided not to work anymore. I took it back to the shop and continued vaping on the Tesla. 

Let me tell you, that Tesla is AMAZING!! I’ve always been a fan of mechanical mods(Used to compete in cloud comps, so Mechs were de wae for a long time) and this is a good reason as to why. I popped my Velocity V2 on there with a fresh .11 dual Alien coil build(Seems I have a thing for all things alien, no?) and went to town. Now before those out there say “DUCKEH YOUZ VAPIN UNSAPHLEE!!” I assure you that a .11 is fine on a dual parallel 18650 set up. Trust me, I used to run something similar on my old Cigreen. It’s fine. Battery life is about what you’d expect in a mech, especially a parallel, and the vape itself is phenomenal. It feels good in the hand, and it’s just nice. I was even able to run my TFV8 on there, no issue. 

  now, February, I picked up a new regulated mod, the SMOK T-Priv. I was told by the guy at my local brick-and-mortar, not to mention the myriad reviews I read about it, that if the Alien were a better mod, this would be that mod. and so far(Maybe two weeks?) It seems that’s the case. It’s a little boxier than the Alien, but its the same height. It has a top screen(Like the X-Cube did) as opposed to the side screen of the ALien. Said screen has ALREADY lasted longer than the X-Cube. As it seems I have problems with SMOK products, I havent as of yet with this mod. It seems well enough put together, and it seems to work fine. 

The Alien by SMOK has been, up to this point, my favourite mod I’ve ever used, and not wothout reason. The main drawback of it is ithat it breaks easily.  ojutsode of the breakage, I can tell you this is an easy mod to use, though I wouldn’t recommend it for a beginner, or someone with 3 large, rambunctious young dogs. 

 I dig SMOK’s latest devices, ESPECIALLY the T-Priv. I want to seem ore things like this out, and I’d LOVE to get my hands on an X-Priv.
