But then I thought something that'd be a bit more fun is figuring out how to import SMBX2 levels into Godot.
This can be done in a single frame but I purposefully added a delay because it's fun to see the game read the data live.
Dunno if this is gonna go anywhere, could definitely program my own stuff into this, but figuring out how to do this was just for fun.
Most of it was motivation thinking how I wish SMBX episodes didn't take ages to load.
My first SMBX battle stage can now make its home on your computer!! Comes with both a Large and Small variant (Large depicted) and is available for both SMBX 1.3 and SMBX2 Battle Arena (1.3 depicted)!
