My favorite power-up is definitely a good question. There's a lot to choose from generally but even in the context of WCrew there's a lot to choose from. I think my personal favorites would have to be the ones that change up the movement.

The Rock Mushroom's perfect for slopes and absolutely wonderful when it comes to takin' down crowds of enemies, but there's also a few bonus moves that come in handy for melee combat.

The Super Leaf 'n Tanooki Suit are cult classics, with the leaf always readily available anywhere I turn and the suit having a very useful extra move in its statue. Both give access to the tailswipe, and also a method of flight easier to control than the Cape Feather. Though my favorite way of flying (and probably my favorite hands down) has to be the Red Star, which is pretty rare to get.

Sometimes he'll have thoughts to share whenever I align with a certain area, or sometimes he'll completely split from my input 'n que his own little cutscene interaction. Though whether it's something little or large, he'll always remind me that he's got a mind of his own.

There are times I can use the touch pad to help him, but it's usually just feels like I'm there only to guide him. Giving suggestions as he leaps 'n bounds as he wants through my hands. It's definitely an odd partnership at the end of the day, but I like to think we make it work.

I can sort of see them as crushes, like when a child has their first crush? Yeah, smth like that

Not sure if Oogtar has a canon age, but I hc him as like 8 since the twins are 7 and they went to school together in that one episode, so it would be reasonable

I can see Hip as a very affectionate kid and Oogtar as troublemaking but still caring, yk?

This WAS a SMA4 hack of sorts, or it was supposed to be. At first it was just a fun resprite, but with the more sprites I changed the more the world around it all changed. It got to a point where it just became its own world, with whole new stages 'n kingdoms to boot, an' even with all the time I've spent with this mess I doubt I've even skimmed the surface of what there is to find.

About the screenshot above, this blog might already be a bit familiar with this world's Petal Meadows, and I'd say it has to be the nicest area in World 1 overall. It's "enemies" act a lot more peaceful compared to the troops found elsewhere, it's one of the best locations to stock up on all the different kinds of power-ups the first world has to offer (despite the singular mushroom seen in my reserve) an' there's even a town not too far away! Course, Petalburg's nowhere as big as Toad Town, but it's got its charm.
