Okay okay... I SURELY can't be the only one who sees this similarity, okay so the first (I'd say) Sam and Max comic came out in 1987 (insert "was that the bite of 87" joke here) and yknow what else started as a comic? Duckman!!! A detective comic series that started (and was possibly based on SMAX) in 1990. Now SMAX the animated series might be based on the Duckman TV series since Duckman (the tv show) came out in 1994 and SMAX came out after Duckman in 1997. And plus they BOTH have those uhh what do you call em? 8 bit video games??? Someone correct me on that please? I think I'm right? I dunno, anyways...
Character designs: Cornfed looks highly based off Sam, they both wear a hat, striped tie, suit, and don't wear any shoes haha. And Duckman and Max seem the same slightly,..basically they both wear nothing, however they sometimes will wear clothing if it's an a occasion but never anytime else. And it seems like their height is switched too since Sam is taller than Max and reverse that with a short pig and a tall duck since to me Duckman reminds me of Max and Corny reminds me of Sam and they all act the same, like how Sam is real laid back and Corny is like that and Duckman is like Max, chaotic, probably shouldn't be a detective.
Also just too put this shortly: both come from 80s to 90s and both detective fictional media, both have had 8 bit? Games, tv shows, comics, merchandise, and a somewhat following. (Sam and Max more than Duckman I'd say)
Hey if you made it too the end. Er even read any of that hard work... I made this for fun I guess.. Just seeing if any Sam and Max, Duckman, or some random horror fan agrees, or just finds this and thinks it's cool, also sorry if I got years wrong I'm not used to posting "blogs" on here, I'm more of a "internet artist" or something haha. This is also not something that I'm doing to be mean,to the creator or anyone, I just thought it would be cool to write. :o)
