A sneaky little mastermind
Crows are not just loud, bold, or mischievous β they are incredibly intelligent. They use tools, solve puzzles, remember faces, learn from one another, and even hold "funerals" (sort of). I shared some unsalted peanuts with a few of them by the seaside; as they approached, you could see in their eyes that they really are sneaky little masterminds.
People hype up prehistoric sea monsters, but I bet a pod of orcas would do terrible terrible things to a Dunkleosteus, Mosasaurus, or Megalodon.

I watch american psycho for plot
About a year and a half ago, Abra (my fur baby), learned how to sign "food" in ASL, mimicking what I always sign to her when I feed her.
A couple weeks ago, she figured out that tapping my face while I'm asleep will wake me up so that she can tell me it's time to feed her! ππ
I'm so happy I was finally able to catch it on camera! I feel like this is a "have to see it to believe it" situation.
