The Vespa 400 was a microcar made in France by Piaggio. It was powered by a rear-mounted 393cc two-cylinder engine. It was manufactured between 1957 and 1961 when it was discontinued and not replaced. Considered to have been a market-place failure, it was outpaced by the Fiat 500 and other small cars from Germany, France, and the UK.

The Suzuki LC was a 2005 kei-car concept that paid tribute to Suzuki’s own heritage, especially the 1967 Fronte 360.
A tiny rear-engined two-seater with retro styling, it used a 660 cc 3-cylinder engine, a 4-speed automatic, and a playful vintage-themed interior.
It was well received at the Tokyo Motor Show but never went into production. Instead, it remains a charming example of Suzuki leaning into its own history for a concept car.
