Those Elec Princess Team girls from Pokemon look exactly like those kunoichis Tomomi, Yuki and Shige from Ninjaboy Rantaro.What a nice reference we got here. More like Speed Racer anime with Charjabug Racer instead.

This is a huge pet peeve of mine, like I don’t have a problem with this kind of depiction in general, but come on you have three girls in the main cast you can afford to let one of them be heat (alternatively you could say that not every male should be stereotypically heat, like we coulda had my man Kaki join the girls at tea or something, so there’s that. But being heat is cool so you know, the more the merrier). At least we got some side girls in the race (cute ones at that)

And they got top 3 too!

See, you can be heat and cute at the same time~ I did enjoy seeing the boys go at it, they have great chemistry, and usually we do have the whole group together so it’s not really bad, but if they’re gonna do this they should at least give the girl trio an episode all for themselves, flesh out their chemistry as well. Give us a full 20 minutes of tea and pancakes, you know.
